What mild pace? The guy ahead slowed down to tighten his helmet, it was his fault for not keeping the pace.

Those bikes cost around 1 to 3 million dollars. Lots of money just burned right there

@@cylindricalfire no they dont , they're closer to 100k , 1-3mill is likely the entire budget for the team for the year inc fuel/tyres/repairs/consumables/wages etc wsbk has a cost cap of 250k for their bikes and that's the flagship class , ssp wont be anywhere near that

@@louistorres not exactly , its the warm-up lap , under yellows, which mean "caution, be prepared to stop", yes #3 was traveling slower than most others but its still 47s responsibility to look where he is going the fact 55 has not only spotted 3 but worked out theres about to be a crash before 47 even starts looking up tells how long there was to avoid this, not to mention by the point of impact, 47 was travelling significantly faster than everyone else in shot, not just #3

@@1PITIFULDUDE An accident can be either physical or material, or both at the same time. They screwed up their motorbikes, so it's a material accident. Call your insurer, he can confirm it to you (although I agree that it looks more like an incident than an accident).

That's why I'll get on friends Uber etc if I see them texting while driving. All it takes is two people not paying attention for 1/2 second for an accident. Meanwhile they think everyone else will be 100% focused on the road.

@Sleeping Warrior THATS WHY YOU DON'T LOOK DOWN, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S HIGHLY CONGESTED. I think you're giving him too much of a pass. It looks like he was too comfortable, so he became complacent. I get that he's a world class rider; but crashes can happen to anyone no matter the skill level. I think he learned that the hard way.

On bike losing front grip is more dangerous, but if you lose your rear grip you can still control it And look how the tires hit. Front tyre hitting rear tyre will cause the rider in the back to launch

He got hit up top that pushed his body forward. Luck

He wasn't holding the handlebars and that might be the reason he could stay upright. Bikes tend to want to stay upright because of their geometry. Often putting inputs into the bars when the bike is knocked unexpectedly is what causes it to fall.

@@JazzRadioFfm Helmet routine is an important part of racing. Tbh helmet routine decides who wins the race before it even starts. It's about putting on your helmet, focusing, and hearing every breath in your helmet. (Brush your teeth to increase effectiveness on track) Next you need to do the D-rings, leave the visor open as of now, continue to find your zone and meditate. Hear those breaths. Next you swing a leg over and flip the visor down consecutively, if you do this right you will be able to drag your balls across the pavement for better cornering. Then you start up your Can-am and get them lean angles bwoiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Not a lower tier of racing. A separate one. These are lightly modified street bikes. The lower tier would be the smaller engined street bikes racing. These are the biggest ones. MotoGP is strictly racebikes. Moto 1 and Moto 2 would be the lower tiers to MotoGP.

IM NOT REAL they’re not lightly modified you can’t even buy the suspension on these bikes they’re completely different from the actual road version just share the same frame and engine even that is modified however

@@jackmeoff7686 I would consider it lightly modified, but that is kind of an opinion. The biggest changes are exhaust, intake, and tune. Suspension is Öhlin's, brakes are Brembo, should be able to slap those on ya own bike if you want.
