@@Knuckles7712she upgraded it. She will upgrade the other two as well, and then you can wear them in front of Leg-Eater. Then, he’ll go get some. Help the romance, okay?
so NKG (nightmare king grimm) is the fight that transitioned me from a fan of this game to a lover of this game. It took me 5 hrs worth of attempts and the phases being marked by his eruption attack helped me gauge the fact that i was improving each time. despite dying countless times each death brought me closer to vitory and i could not stop trying to beat him. that night i went to sleep eager to face him once more the next day. after 5 hrs the night before i woke up the next day my mind having memorized his attack patterns, and i crushed taking only one hit. few experiences rival the sense of satisfaction i got in that moment. thank you for letting me live it again in some small way by watching your playthrough.
When I killed him the first I was so into this fight, I loved it so much, that I decided to kill him without taking any damage. Took me 10 attempts max to do it (maybe less, it was around 4-5 years ago and my memory is pretty rusty). It is an amazing fight, I love it so so much.
There is one way you can get good healing. Shape of Unn lets you move during his ground-fire attack, so you can get a full 3 healing by just holding either direction while healing:
About the spore shroom room and the duplicate grub, my only guess is if your game crashed/force quit, before benching or save quitting, then the game doesn't register it ever happened
The Legend of Zelda series has been doing the dynamic boss music for a while, at least as far back as Wind Waker, and very noticeable in Twilight Princess as well. One of my favorite examples of dynamic combat tracks is all the way back in 2000 with Skies of Arcadia. The music changes based on both if your party members are low health or when a boss is.
The best boss fight mechanically but I have a love for the mantis lords. They and the fight against all 3 just has a very nice rythm to it that I love.
Nice video, I had a pretty similar experience with NKG, I feel like he's a "once you learn it you got it" boss, btw you GOTTA abuse descending dark's s more, especially during GPZ since that's one of the tougher bosses for some but I just spam descending dark (also man I am hyped for Davinci Resolve 19, audio ducking and the performance increase seem so hype)
NKG and PV are both once you learn it you got it bosses due to their "dance" design. He could of also got cheeky damage by using fireball right after a normal slash, it deals with a lot of trash and breaks the game on subsequent playthroughs.
did you make sure to sit at the bench before shutting your game down? If not, that's why you're doing those things again. Also, this is the first time you're playing ("blind reaction"), but unfortunately, you're getting backseat advice...I guess that's how it is when you stream a game.
I guess you didn't get the dream dialogue from Grimm after your first battle, which is reasonable, he disappears afterwards instantly. It says: "Masterful! Even a vessel discarded bears fierce strength. Fine craft dear Wyrm, and perfect tool to prolong the heart of Grimm" I absolutely love this one, it just builds more connections between characters in this world. There is so much hidden dream dialogue in the game that you would have to specifically hunt for and even dreamnail everything that looks remotely like a corpse, and sometimes you have to do that in the middle of a boss battle
You could also already realise that, since I guess you are finishing Godhome content, but whenever Grimm is doing the "pufferfish" attack in the middle of his arena in both battles, it means that he lost another 25% of his health. So that is basically his healthbar so to say
NKG will always have a place in my heart because it was the hardest challenge i had faced in gaming at that point. I beat him when i was like 15 or so, and i could just feel my skills improving at every step. Took me a few hours, but i loved every moment, and the dopamine rush was insane afterwards
@@user-fr4hg8md5p PV. Ive done all 3 on radiant and imo the order of difficulty is absrad, then PV, then NKG. ...radiant markoth is a separate beast that we dont talk about LOL
