I rebute your statement sir. The wealth of many in this country was inherited from a previous generation who did the work. This generation of people who are generally rich, received it through grandaddies, such as yourself, who left the wealth to them. Then these very same rich people who inherited their wealth, sit in judgment on the poor person, calling them lazy for not going out there with the same opportunities as their rich grandaddy, Jackie Mason. I spit on the wealthy greedy rich.
@suspendmeassholes You aren't listening. The poor here have it BETTER than any where else in the world because of our compassion AND the ability to become anything you put your mind to.
I thankful to live here as opposed to anywhere else, such as in Egypt, where if you go to church you may come out in a bag of chunks. Or in Indonesia where if you're a Christians you may well get hacked up with a machete. I do think, however, that although it is a fact this is by far the best place to live in the world at the moment (that could change quickly) that is more a testiment to the sorry state of the world rather than what a great place the US is. It use to be great years ago.
@thepofmeister You know all you guys that bash America NEVER cite an alternative! if you do have a place that you would prefer to live, let me oblige you to facilitate your emigration to that nation.
@thepofmeister Perhaps... , I grant you there are strange things going on.. well I think you confuse a leval playing field with equal stuff for simply being born here. Life and America is dynamic. we have things now that afford us tremendous opportunities and access to things that our forefather could not have ever dreamed of.
