Shall we discuss how to heal / repair the skin barrier next? Does your skin feel dehydrated, flaky, red, itchy, sensitive, burns on applying skincare, infectious (pimples/bumps)? You might have a damaged skin barrier.
Yes, I'm facing this since one week, this is happening to me very first time . And I'm not using anything thing on my face . What should I have to do ? I can't find why it's happening .,?😢
Thank you for showing with images what is the damaged skin barrier, others just tell this n that you actually showed it! Can't thanking you enough for this.❤ You should do elaborate video on this topic i must say.
I actually observed this. So started watching all these skin care videos and started using niacin-amide serum and using a salicylic acid based face wash into my skin care. The way my skin damaged. It took me two weeks to recover from that, I went to a whole basic skin care of only face wash, moisturiser and sun skin. Once my skin recovered I introduced the face wash and serum I used before I got to trying something that’s in trend
Yes I faced this... From Soft smooth skin got completely damaged skin like this with scars due to blister beetle allergy. It leaves toxic acid when it walks over the skin. This time it was face and neck. 😢 With medication have gotten little better. Using cetaphil moisturizer.. It has helped.
Did your skin itch and burn? I also use to have really good skin but now I’m going crazy because of the itch and burn on my face. Been to dermatologist didn’t help.
@@Rehomewithme For me it's seasonal attack from time to time.. My skin was healed after a couple of months last time.. But I feel neck has a mild pigmentation... Not very prominent. Although I got bitten again on neck recently ☹️... Battling with them always.
Any update ? I think about using nothing and see if my skin improves. I got a bad reaction from a moisturizer that caused my cheeks to become red and dry.
Hey shards, big fan, i dunno if u will read this but my skin is really dry and I have very little tiny tiny black heads on my nose and some little tiny white heads on my face, tho they r less but still and I also have kind of an irregular skin plus fungal infection at one part of it. Please suggest something if u can, it would be a great help
Uh can use Cetaphil moisturizer cream it really works for very dry skin . I myself using it . When uh will apply uh will stick but within a sec it blends in our skin uh will so refreshing and like uh haven't apply anything unlike so called moisturizer. It is very light in weight. One thing which I observe is that when we apply Cetaphil our pimple aur acne etc are clearly Visible and we get to know at what level they are reducing . And it is very affordable and use have to use just 4 drop of it . Hence it is very very affordable one pack will be enough for 7-8 month . Use cream with 2 finger rule. I myself using it that is my I'm recommending you . Before Cetaphil I havent continue to use any moisturizer because of their chemicals. But Cetaphil is mch better .
Thank you ❤ i was confused and was trying to my many products but when i saw this i got to know that i was wrong😅 any ways thank u soo much can u tell me which products helps ??
U should wash away retionoil after just 2 or 3 hour Chemical peeling is common but later it gives u a better skin First time I used retionoid i forgot to wash it and left it overnight i woke up in the morning with my skin so loose looking like a 60 year oldie but eventually it got better You could apply moisturizer to make it better
Yes exactly i am searching for this video. My bf gifted me one plant based retinol cream then after applying it i massaged my face with jade roller then my skin became flaky and itchy that day. After till now my skin is very rough and open pores are clearly visible

I've Flaky Dry Skin on my legs and Tiny Little Bumps on my forehead... Tiny Little Bumps are caused mainly when I go outside (polluted and dusty air in Delhi), when stay at home for days, they disappear... I can't stay inside forever....!!😳😳😂😂 Flaky Dry skin on legs (the entire leg), the reason is unknown... I never used any product on my legs... 😂 Despite doing regular oiling with natural coconut oil, it's still there...😢 Please suggest what measures I can take...??🤔🤔
May I ask what are these tiny little bumps all over the face? You can barely see them but it almost feels like sandpaper. I don’t think these are closed comedones but some of them get inflamed. Does it go away once the barrier is healed? 🙂
You are not even a dermatologist. Instead of putting up information and pictures that you took from internet , why don't you simply ask your viewers to consult a dermatologist and let them do their job ?
cetaphil moisturizing cream...don't exfoliate for sometime in any form..n use a gentle cleanser... don't wash or cleanse your face for more then twice a day
I just use a mild face wash and a hydrating moisturiser but my skin barrier is damaged. It has been like this for months now. Do I stop using everything? 😥😥
I m getting scars automatically on my face whenever I use any products I hve tried salicylic acid serum I got 2 straight line scars , I used vitamin c I got again Idk whats the prob
@@mimis.5139 I damaged my skin barrier from excessive splashing water on my face. I thought water is like keeping my skin moisturized and I loved the feeling of it. But now I regret it. I just realized this by watching other videos on this issue on yt rn
Sh*t.. my order ia actually on it's way.. though it's mostly 'gentle' skin care products I included a retinol. And yeah, I'm stopping my current routine bcos a few of these signs are showing. I should probably just keep my sebaceous filaments and large pores than damaged my skin forever.. 😥😢
Shraddha, all day i have no problem, but while bathing at evening after water falls especially hot falls on my skin, my hand starts to itch a lot, such that it gets all red, when itch too hard, bumps come up and they reside shortly after, since I bath at evening, this continues all night , but the next day would be normal again, I am unknown to his reason ??
@@Dan24. After that I faced lot of acne breakouts for which I had to take dermatologist consultation after 6-7 months of long treatment it's finally better now touchwood 🤞
@@dishalochav9717 Great to hear! I don’t have acne but I have redness and tight uncomfortable skin on my cheeks after using a moisturizer. Used cortisone and some other cremes but nothing really worked. The redness has become less but it’s still there and it feels uncomfortable. I hope I will heal too at some point.
