Nice fish! Have you considered running straight fluro w/ the glides?? One less knot failure to worry about! (Leader knot)

That day definitely made me rethink! I may give it a shot and see how it goes. Don’t really like fluoro as the main line but I may have to. What line do you use?

@@GillRaker79 recently I’ve been running Izorline xxx for glides & wakes for the last year. Really like it & it’s fairly cheap to buy in bulk spools so you can respool often w/o being upset haha

@@GillRaker79Seagur invisx 20lb for my treble baits. 25lb for big soft baits with weedless/jig hooks

@@GillRaker79it’s just the line memory part that sucks, especially if you’re using a 300 size reel. All that line will form to the shape of the spool before you even get close to using it all. There’s also a really good mono that the fellas on TacticalBassin talk about being just as thin as flouro but I forget what it was unfortunately.

@@Samuel-kz3vo yeah I absolutely hate the fluoro line memory. Exactly why I don’t use it as the main line. I’ve since tweaked my leader knots and had much better luck.
