Marc is his own worst enemy. He had third place wrapped up with no chance to improve unless the other two made errors. It just seemed like he went to sleep and made an error lesser riders make on regular basis.

Why does this current crop of riders stick their leg out so awkwardly? It looks so strange. I remember watching Kenny Roberts,Eddie Lawson,Freddie Spencer,Mick Doohan,Kevin Shwantz and the other guys just dragging a knee and looking SO elegant doing so. These guys look like amateurs,even though they are all quite accomplished.
It's a balance thing. Came from MX and Supermoto. Their positioning is just completely different from back in the day. These guys go through a pair of boots every race. I've seen guys toes through the bottom of their sole's. Time's have changed. I fkn love it. But I get that it might look a bit weird 😅

@@lanalan4157 Martin pushed Bagnaia wide at the beginning. Marquez went full speed through the corner but Bagnaia was more than 30 meters in front of Marc after the straight? At the beginning of the straight he nearly kissed his tire :)
