Honest truth he’s guided my Dad Joe and Mom Laura down in Texas on Fork and my Dad said that’s best fisherman I’ve been in boat with my Dad couldn’t even fish the whole Day because Lee wore him out with 50 plus bass..I remember my Dad as always traveling we having guides told Lee pick ur rod up and cast but my parents never had more fun the times with Lee. They show horses down there every year! Been my favorite since his first tourney..I met Lee at oak ridge I asked everyone there who to get for a good guide just happy to see a good man doin well early!!and he remembered me meeting from year before getting his number for my dad and me but last time we called I understood he’s made the big show couldn’t be prouder..I know he’s a great person..I know the blue collar and see it loved seeing last years footage by far best footage of year and the minow bucket goin nuts to me cheering and friends like Lee in ky like Tommy Williams u keep it up Lee.. my dad is tough and he smiled caught nice ones and really thinks world of u as well

Thanks for bringing the heat again Mercer. “Jakes take” is definitely the best segment on this channel and ol Jake is a national treasure. The emotion that comes with him and the sport/anglers really brings it close to home because I get the same way watching all of these guys have their moments in the sport. Also nobody can say enough about lee being the people’s champ. I grew up watching the intimidator on Sunday’s , and jake hit the nail on the head comparing lee to that figure. Awesome episode, congratulations to Lee, to Jake, and to you, For all of yall’s success👊🏻👍🏻

Great show Dave. Lee had a lot of momentum coming into Fork after winning Ross Barnett. A home win is definitely the hardest to get and Lee has done it two years in a row. Btw, coming up blue collar will teach someone things they won't learn anywhere else. Whiskey Myers even wrote a song about that.

Boy Dave how can you not like the Big Guy. Congratulations Lee. Back to back. Love his style. His stock is rising at a meteoric rise. Seems like a genuinely good dude. Can’t get enough of the hottest field producer on the planet. Jake hits it out of the park every time. I swear I think he had Lee wiping tears a couple of time during that show. Not gonna lie Dave, always watched facts about fishing. In sought of that giggly laugh. You need to thank whoever told you to lose that. LOL. Probably Ray Scott if I were a betting man. However I endured and kept watching still do when I see it. You should plug it. On the show. I know that’s not your style. What am I thinking. Great show dude. Keep Jake on Lock ,at all cost.

Great show, Dave! But I'm curious...you've been vocal about your dislike of BASSTRAKK and when people know the tournament outcome prior to the weigh-in. Yet, you said this weigh-in was one of the "coolest one's ever" even though the outcome was known prior to the weigh-in. It seemed to me that the angler's had more fun with it, too, given that they were released from the stressful suspense of a typical weigh-in. Does this tournament change your views at all on knowing the outcome prior to the weigh-in? Also, every time I hear Bob Cobb do the introduction, I think why hasn't he been a guest? I'm sure he has lots of great stories to tell about B.A.S.S. I recently heard one about him and Ray Scott having Forrest Wood arrested so he wouldn't disclose the location for that year's Classic. Not sure if there's any truth there, but, if there is, Bob Cobb would be one of the best ones to tell the story! Keep up the great work, Dave!

@jessecooper9795
@jessecooper9795 2 года назад
It's not easy winning on your home water. Especially two years in a row and his spot on the final day was a place he'd never fished before. These are the best guys in the world and the guy who has a home field advantage hardly wins
@vrt1032
@vrt1032 2 года назад
@@jessecooper9795 any normal person has better odds of doing well on a lake that is their guiding lake. Common sense. All the violins about poor lee and it’s so hard…. Fake news
@jessecooper9795
@jessecooper9795 2 года назад
@@vrt1032 ain't nobody saying poor Lee. As far as locals go, you can actually hurt yourself by falling into places that worked in the past and relying on them too much. Any person that has tournament experience will tell you that. How come guys from up north win southern tournaments that has local pros fishing them? They find the fish and respond to what they're doing. Nice try though
