No matter what the world offers, even its best - will never be as good as Jesus. Thank you for sharing this old-time melody and thank you Jesus for being our friend and savior. GOD bless you Terry.
Very good rendition.. Keep up the good work.. God needs us more than ever in this civid crisis. God bless you and all who made this piece possible to be shared... Prayer to the Holy Spirit (St Augustine) Breathe in me O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy. Strengthen me O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy. Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy. Amen
Thank you so much! I am going to try and work this out to be able to play your arrangement. I just love it! This song is one of my favourites and your arrangement is awesome! I appreciate your kindness in sharing your talent.
@mm0bql Me too. I love this version of a great gospel song. I still remember the words from this song when I went to Sunday Scholl and I am now 64. You are brilliant
Good fast pace ! I play that anthem on the piano in a Country Saloon for Cowboys/Girls and 1861-1865 Soldiers. ( Reenactors lol ) But with a lot of Wiskey in the Choir very slowly. Thanks for showing your Lucia iv P. It was very helpful to me for the decisionI to buy one in the next few days. Greetings from Switzerland.
You are one fine accordion player! I voted you up. I used to play and had lessons when I was a youngster. Would like to take it up again and play Gospel songs.
Lillian the Wolf Sorry, I learned it by ear so there's no sheet music. There are many piano scores available free online so perhaps you can work out an arrangement from that.
@@TerryClarkAccordioncrazy because we are deprived of such type of music in India.. Especially in the place where I live... It's really nice listening to this music
Can I please use this video to collaborate with my video of playing mouth organ... Of course I will not be uploading it on RU-vid .. It's just among family and friends... I just tried playing What a friend we have in Jesus on my harmonica..
@mollymitch1 I have now found your channel. You have some fantastic music on here, you are very entertaining. Thank you so much for all the pleasure i am getting from listening to and watching you. You are an inspiration. Gary
Please do a Vurtual Duet with Wild Rover 434 on this fantastic gospel song, I would love to see it and I think Nick would be happy to do it, he is a fabulous player.
You know what I would like to see? You do a Virtual Duet of this great hymn with Wildrover434. He, like yourself does this so well and I think you would compliment each other. I'd say there would be a lot more fans of both yourself and Nick who love to see you both together.
Thanks for your comment. To be honest I have no idea how to teach anyone to play this. I don't even think I play it well myself. Let me think it through.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vj6bdaskVbE.html I found this video of a guy I think from Brazil playing tuba along with this recording. The title is "O irmaos, a Deus devemos", which is the Portuguese title of this song.
Thanks for your comment. Yes with the benefit of more experience I'd probably opt for a slower tempo for this tune now, even when aiming for a marching band sound as I was here.
