It was really good of you both to stop and talk to us this year Andy. I've said hello to you both a couple of times before at ABR while you were already engaged in conversation with other fans, but this year I caught you both alone. Cheers Andy (and Carol), I enjoyed the banter.

Great insight in what seems a great weekend. Far bigger than what we would get in New Zealand. It may be worth coming over for 2025. My first ABR. I had stopped going to festivals in the 1980s due to the general squalor and filth of it all. ABR was fabulous, clean tidy and friendly. I’m already looking forward to next year. Talk bikes , rides bikes all day great live music in the evening. I arrived on the Thursday and still in recovery mode on the Tuesday after as I didn’t want to miss anything.
Thanks for this Mr+Mrs Flyer. Yet another fantabulous few days of respectful motorcycling fun at the ABR. Absolutely the highlight of my summer. See you there again next year✌️
I entirely enjoyed piggy-backing on you to get a good feel of ABR 2024! One of these days (years) I might drag my sorry behind over there to experience it for real. Virtual beer and virtual chit-chats are never as good as the real thing, so that should motivate me. Thanks for sharing, Andy! 👍

Hi Andy, Hi Carol. I expect you are inundated with messages and so many requests. You may or may not recall speaking with me. I was the Police officer that spoke to you on the Thursday of the ABR. I Just wanted to say it was an absolute pleasure to meet you and Carol, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. I also wanted to find out how Carol was doing with her mod 2 ? Jess ( beginner2baddassbiker) passed her test and it got me thinking about Carol taking her test. If she hasn't yet taken it then we wish her the very best of luck. Thank you Mr. and Mrs Flyer for giving us an in depth look arounf the ABR festival. After watching this video, I am determined to try and get to at least one in the future. Everyone seemed to have a smile on their face, and genuinely looked to be enjoying themselves. Obviously helped by great weather.
Thanks for the look around. Certainly gave us a flavour of the event. As virtually every other motorcycle RU-vid channel except us has been at the ABR, I suspect there will be loads of vids from there about to drop.
No mention of the great trials riding available, and the thirty plus fantastic food venues offering round the world food choices, great event , will be there next year all being well
@@TheMissendenFlyer A new friend I’d made at ABR had seen him and got chatting en route to the toilet. Came back and asked if we wanted to go and have a chat, so we did. I told him how badly we’d done in the pub quiz and he started coming up with some more questions. The family still live at Ragley Hall albeit just the first floor. He’s a wheelchair user and was just to the left of the bar tent.
This is pretty much exactly how I would have wanted to do my own ABR vid,but got carried away & just enjoyed myself HUGELY while there! 🤣👍 Great vid Andy & I'll have to look harder to find you next year mate! 😎✌️
What a great representation of what was the a fantastic event, I was there at 7.30am on the Thursday and left at 4pm Sunday and loved every minute of it, it's my second year and yet again everyone was so friendly and in good spirits. I managed to test ride a CF Moto 450 MT and loved it, ordered one today, and as luck would have it the dealer has one coming in two weeks with my name on it.
It was great to meet you and Carol. Another really great ABR. I think you really managed to capture the scale and spirit of the show in this video. Keep up the good work Andy.
Great to see you both having so much fun. Carol wearing her Cassington t shirt. We spoke at Cassington and discussed the ABR festival, I said it seemed too expensive. After watching this I now realise how wrong I was. It looks amazing and I will definitely be going next year. You warned that this might be a bit haphazard- I felt it was one of your best. So many smiles and laughs from so many people. Excellent, keep up the good work and hopefully we may meet up again some time soon.

Great video this, I’ve thought about visiting the festival, but never managed to get there but after watching this I will definitely be there next year. I have been to all the big bike shows over the years, including the bike shed show this year, but this looks the business, Thanks for sharing.

This really does capture the essence of the ABR festival. It was our first time this year, but we're already booked for 2025 as it really is that good. I even managed to get round the Bridgestone Trail on my Tiger 1200 (first time it and me have been offroad) without breaking anything!
Looks like a great event. I like that it's not 100% Adventure Bike focused and more of a general bike enthusiast gathering. Would be a great trip to spin over from Ireland and camp for the long weekend.
This was enjoyable from start to finish. Thanks for taking us along. I was only a bit let down when I saw UserNameKate (happy), but she only got to wave and that was it. :( Other than that, it was all good. :)

It looked like a good rally. You struck gold with the weather. Not really my thing though. I used to do Kent custom bike show and the bulldog bash. Both sadly long gone 😢.
I was at the Bulldog Bash the year that Motorhead were the main band - I never made it to the Kent Custom one though which is ridiculous as I live in Kent !! 👍🏽

What a great summary of the ABR festival from your perspective. It occurred to me that for 3 days in the year yourself and Carol turn into a celebrity couple at the ABR. Must be a bit odd having 14,000 mates who think they’ve known you for years !?! Superb job both.

Haphazard, never, sometimes slick can be too much, this video was fantastic and really gave us the flaour of the place (Richard the Thirds in the portaloo included). What a great couple you make.
