Yes, Daemon did many things for Rhaenyra but remember he choked her in season 1 finale. It's fully understable she has trust issues now.

Girl I love Daemon he is in my top 3 favourite characters and I love Daemon and Rhaenyra relationship not because I think they’re “couple goals” but because I really enjoy their dynamic I think Matt and Emma (and Milly as young Rhaenyra) have beautiful chemistry but to be honest you’re being a bit oblivious about Daemon and the Blood & Cheese situation like yes the first intended target was Aemond but rewatch the scene and you’ll notice that when Cheese asks Daemon “what if we cant find him (Aemond) ?” Daemon just gives him a weird look and a smile and the scene changes so it’s highly believed that he told them “a son for a son” that means they can go ahead and kill ANY son of the royal family Aemond, Aegon or Jaehaerys
