And when baby gets bigger I suggest something like the Tula or Ergo wrap, I have back problems and found that those did better when the baby starts getting heavy. But wraps are perfect when they are little!!!!!
I'm super excited for you both.. baby has a beautiful room 😇 ... One of my favorite things to do was to keep going through all my kids' baby clothes until they were born. I just couldn't wait to put every single outfit on them..
U should get a puff ottoman to put your feet up on when feeding in your chair it will make it cozy and easier for you with the chair being big. Best chair and beautiful nursery ❤❤
As someone who worked in a baby store for 5 years I just want to say that none of the things you bought were excessive or 'unnecessary' lol! Electric bouncers are one of the most popular items we sold, and for good reason. We also sold a lot of those strap carriers too but I think in the west we mostly use them on outings like going to the zoo, etc. 🤷♀️ The only thing I noticed you may also want to get is a non-electric nasal aspirator for your baby bag. They're super helpful to have around just to clean out the babies nose quickly when you're not home, then wipe both baby and aspirator with a boogie wipe after lol!
She's not from California hahhahahahhahhahaha, you need to be in a more "hippy" "granola" area of the US to see baby wraps and slings actually being used
Get yourself a footstool to place your feet on when feeding in the chair. Made such a difference to my daughter who still uses it now and her baby is 5 months old. She purchased a little plastic one from Ikea

Actually, the Konny baby holder has become super popular and it is in America. There are quite a few American RU-vidrs who have had babies and wear Konny's with their babies in their videos.
The nursery looks good and everything looks put together in a way that's so convenient! The baby Wraps have been so popular in the US for awhile now. The baby bouncers are nice to have! I used one for both my kids (not while they selpt) but when they were awake, it was nice to put them in it when I was cooking or cleaning.
For the little bottom it is very important to buy zinc ointment. And the whole intime are, the place at the tops of the legs also. Our sun never had wounds because of that. Also used for elderly inkontinent people. I also advice Kaufmanns Kinderreime for the face and if there’s something wound around the mouth. Best experiences!
It's beautiful! I think it's special that you got what YOU wanted and did things like you wanted even though it's not typical there in the culture! You're from America and he's lived in America so I don't see anything wrong with mixing the cultures! Even if you weren't from America it would be fine! Don't stress on that! I think every purchase you name was a smart one and will aid you, your husband and your sweet daughter in some way! Way to go! It's beautiful!
I had that same crib and when my boy was in the toddler faze my husband cut out an entrance so he can get in and out but couldnt fall out of it and it was great he used it until he was 5 😊
How many bedrooms do you actually have though? Because one room is your bedroom then you need an office as well? Or did you give up your office for the baby?
I suggest you put some snacks and drinks for yourself in that baby cart next to the armchair. It will be a lifesaver. Drink cap should be easy to open with one hand and/or with a straw. Good luck :)
Looks lovely, those automatic rockers are very handy, i think some people forget being a parent is very busy as you still have housework to do...and these auto rockers are fantastic more so in open plan kitching and living room as it means baby can be asleep and stay a sleep a while in the rocker while you are just in the kitchen or tidying around
