I've always been both impressed and disappointed when trying Wish stuff! I ordered Faber Castell pencils like 3 months ago and they never came in time for my video :| also did you see the watercolor pencils on there?!?! I have them but didn't try them out yet :')

I have purchased many art supplies over tons of media types from wish over the past year and agree it can be hit or miss. Hits - water color brush pens, their drawing pencil sets, and charms for jewelery. Miss - polymer clay & different types of paints (complete rubbish). Never invested more than 5 bucks for anything so not a really big loss for me. So still like wish but yes have forgotten and thought what was i thinking when i ordered this lol. Love the video! Also level 89 wisher here. Not sure if that should be something to be proud of hehe.
The question is, does all the Pokémon stuff have the correct trademarks and legal lines, because if not, it's DEFINITELY not a real licensed product! 😂😭

Me:**Orders some heals for bff's party** *TWO MONTH LATER* (Ended up wearing my sister's heals without asking) My order: **arrives** Me:......I....ordered something......from....Wish??.....Auuuuuntieeeee!!?? Auntie:Ya... Me:Did you order something from Wish?!! Auntie:No,you did about 2 month ago..... Me:No way in f***.....R u sure? Auntie:Yep.. Me: **Calls bf to make sure** Yo Steven (not his actual name btw) did I order......shoes??...from Wish? Steven:Ya do you not remember?Like two months ago for Bff's party.... Me:But i wore my sister's shoes at the party.... Steven:That's 'cause they never arrived...Until now i guess.. Me:Oh....yeah I remeber now... **deletes app**
It’s funny everyone is like :”Omg wish takes so long to ship to you!” And im like is :” Everything takes that long to ship to me where i live (Latvia) it always takes a month or more to ship here!”😂😂😂😂
Well Just So Some People Know. The reason everything is so cheap is well it is made in China and people barely get any salary. so before you buy anything take in mind that these products can be made by a 12 year old child. Their salary is ( Again ) not a lot barely 1$ so i recommend to think about this before you buy anything. Sorry For The Mood Killer. I just want people to know this and maybe think about this and be more aware of what You buy.
Pink Puggeh that's true for many things, despite the price. A ton of our products in stores come from China, and are expensive too. You really can't escape it unless you vow to never buy anything again (including food, because even eggs and such that come from farms, are average to expensive prices, but the farmers who gave us the eggs still hardly get a profit). I'm just saying if you wanna stay true to this idea, you better make all your own food, your own clothes, and stop buying things from China (basically everything you buy).
I remember watching a UNICEF awareness vid that said that the children would have to work as house slaves or prostitutes if they didn't have factory jobs, so it's kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't sort of thing.
Our school used to sell smencils in various Halloween, holiday, valentines day and birthday scents. And they were made out of news paper so when you sharpened them they had little newspaper bits that were in multiple languages but mostly what appeared to be Mandarin. The smell lasted forever too they were a good buy. And you could even send them to someone in the school and the leadership kids would put it in their locker.
The thing with Wish is you have to read the reviews on the product that you’re buying because that way you can see what other people‘s experiences are. like when I buy clothes from Wish I read the reviews to see if it runs small or I will see exactly how the product came by looking at the pictures of those who have bought it reviewed, that way I can see exactly when I’m getting that’s the trick with Wish that’s what you have to do otherwise you can get something that you didn’t expect so that’s the way you have to shop on wish that’s why people have so many bad experiences because they get something in the mail and it’s not what they thought it would be so I love the video I think you did a great job but next time if you buy from Wish just check out the reviews and you’ll probably see in the reviews where people said that they got in cartridges instead of the actual gel pen that way you’ll know before you buy it and you can avoid buying something that you didn’t really expect or want
That Pokemon thing from wish is clearly fake. It said "Pokemon go". As a merch collector, I can safely say there is NO OFFICIAL "Pokemon go" branded merch. Not even Pokemon GAME branded merch. It is always branded as "Pokemon". Just putting it out there for those who don't know and in case Rae didn't know.
Hello! Fellow artist going through your videos for inspiration! The pencils you got, the gray with the swatch on the bottom, are actually watercolor pencils! I have them myself and they are a dream for watercolor accents. Super pigmented for accents (can be a little streaky but it doesn’t bother me too too much for how I use it.) Huge fan! Cavvie The Artist I bought these same pencils from Amazon and I love them even more than my prismacolor pencils. I have the watercolor ones too and really enjoy them also.
Sky's Corner Yep, I have the watercolor version of those and I really like them, even the cheap sketchbook paper that I use can hold them well (meaning that they don't need a lot of water to "activate")

hmm I think that maybe the reason for flaking in these pencils' case is that they're oil-based- so if they're anything oily like oil pastels, when the layers start getting thick on top of each other, it can get a little flaky?

You know the colored pencils? I HAVE THOSE. The actual ones come in a circular tube with a cap. They are the EXACT same down to the silver body and the color on the end. I can’t remember where I got them, but they work pretty well and they’re pretty good for doing subtle highlights and shadows.
2:54 Kraft foods would like to know your location. One time it took me about an hour to draw the Black Flag logo, which is four rectangles. One rectangle and then one slightly lower, then another at the same level as the first one, and then the last one at the same level as the second one.
Cardboard is actually super duper thick, and you can paint your cardboard with off white paint or just leave it. Examples of thick cardboard are the ones you get with watercolour sketch pads from strathmore.
I got the 72 pack of those color pencils from Aliexpress for ~$18 from Aliexpress a couple years back and I love them. I use them for adult coloring books and in my bullet journal. I hate the look of the white specs through colored pencils so I use qtips and a bit of vaseline to smear the color to an even and opaque color (I do the same thing with my Prismacolor so I can get the solid effect while using less pigment). Like you said, I find they blend really well. I don't tend to layer that much so I never noticed the flaking issue to had.
Omg this shipping thing and how many days it takes is so true.I always go on something that said FREE but then the shipping is like 3 dollars. I also remember when I ordered a squishy at the beginning of November and got it at the beginning of January. Btw I love looking on wish because I think it is very fun and interesting.
Lol wish is the worst. I ordered a dress 2 months before Halloween, was supposed to come 2 weeks before Halloween. Came 4 weeks after Halloween, was nothing like the picture and was swimming suit material. But video was great lol
I have the 48 pack of those pencils. They were bought from amazon and they're really quite good. Bright and saturated and easy to blend. Mine were I think 15 quid for 48. Still have em and love em to this day
