With that speed you would have serious reservations about her getting 10-12f but some people had doubts over Frankel moving up in trip so you never know. One thing is for sure is that Coolmore will try find her limit anyway.

@@fawltyoldboybasil.2178 I would say the Ballydoyle filly she beat in her maiden will end up as their BC juvenile turf filly. I can see Bedtime Story taking in the Moyglare before heading to Ascot for the fillies mile, soft ground should be ok for her given her dam loved it.

I’d say it’s the second top performance by a 2yo this week. Fairy Godmother was unbelievable too. It’ll take a good one to beat either of them.

definately the 2nd....the other 2 y o races do look ordinary

just sums up breeding for you...her full sister content is not in the same parish as this one......shows breeding is not an exact science

I reserve reservations about the performance, it looked a little bit too good, can't help feeling that the fast ground played its part, plus I'm no fan of horses out of Sprinting mares.

@@Thomas-vg8ov she is by Meccas Angel who didn't peak till she was 4 and I would say the same about her Dad so the sky could be the limit.

@@frankelforever14 That a fair point, but it doesn't necessarily mean she's going to be likewise? I'm not a fan of horses by fast mares in general and just think that this performance is going to be hard to better, but I also feel that a few didn't like the fast ground and it could just be a little flattering? But I look forward to her next race with interest.

@leenffc8164 based on the two performances this week I'd agree with you on Bedtime story producing the better one. Fairy Godmother ran them down superbly but Bedtime story had that whoosh moment we don't often see in flat races over this distance. Hopefully they both stay sound and give us a lot more joy over the next couple of seasons.

Bedtime story would have won that race at 5 furlongs 6/7 A mile , mile and a quarter . Looks like a talent .

​​@@lean2281True, just like that rubbish one million two hundred and fifty thousand guineas horse Coolmore sent to the Coventry (Camille Pissarro) or the a little less expensive (500,000gns) Whistlejacket they ran in the Windsor Castle, unfortunately money is no guarantee, I think Appleby has only ran a third of the Horses O'Brien sent over, but don't let facts like that get in the way of a good slagging and by the way, they did have a Ascot winner, best get try checking before you make comments.

I’m always a bit wary of horses winning like this. So often they bomb out next time. Strictly on this performance though, she’ll be running in a group one next & will be favourite.

that time would have had her third in the jersey ,carrying 6lbs less than the 3yo Haatem.The weight for age scale says she should get about 30lbs.

She will win Moyglare next, Moore said she was that class of a filly, in interview after race . Maybe you need a trip to Specsavers! That was a Group 1 winning performance.

This filly is top class, look at the breeding, a blend of speed and stamina.The Sire Frankel, rated the greatest horse in european horse racing history. The Dam, Meccas Angel, Grand Dam, Dark Angel both top class Group 1 winning sprinters. Bed Time Story will win all the best 7f/mile 2yo's fillies races in europe this season. Also probably next years 1000 Guineas as well. Do you need to take your medication John, do you want me to phone the doctor?
