Appreciate you for putting yourself out there, love seeing the vlogs, for the last two years now haven’t missed one. I look forward to cheering for Bob and catching the next tournament you vlog :)
Definitely didn’t let us down keep your head up because the “keeping it real” look at what it’s like to grind the WSOP is what keeps me and many others tuning in.😊
The main event is so special. I played it in '18 and '19. For me it was an unforgettable experience both times. Don't sweat the variance. Everybody has good and bad days in poker. Thanks for the videos your day of sunrunning is coming!
I played 6 tourneys in the week I was there this year. I felt fortunate to cash one of them (Colossus). Non poker players have no idea how hard it is to not only make the money, but to avoid all of the pitfalls of variance. You and Bob have had an amazing run this year in my opinion and you should be proud even though being knocked out of the Main is I am sure painful (full disclosure, I have never played the ME). I appreciate the vlog and following your journey
At the end of the day, having the perspective of life as a Pro Poker player, you shed so much light on the highs and lows and it's real. the emotions, the socializing, everything. I am so invested in watching the VLOG and #morebob, you both should be proud, you should be happy with how you played and you have reached so many poker want to be players. Thank you for everything. Cant wait to watch the next VLOG!
I just had a melt down over poker this summer. I have been trying to educate myself by reading books and watching videos, also playing a lot of hands, and still I was loosing. Then just one night, I was so close to the money on a big tournament online, and lost a hand I was supposed to win, and just crashed mentally. I went on a vacation, and played poker there, a small tournament live, and finished 3 of 117. I regained all my confidence back and can play more relaxed now, I am in a good place to move forward. Love watching your videos Lexi ❤
Lexy we are all poker players here and we know your pain and we feel your pain, it's not always our turn to run good but when it is we always forget about the bad ones. Keep smiling and count your blessings. Best of luck to you and Bob
Lexy, what sets you apart from every other player is by far how open and genuine you are. Bob is totally that way too but tries to hide it by being a smart a$$! Keep the faith!
Hey Lexy, im fairly new to your channel. Just want to say thank you for your content, ive been following daily!. From what ive seen, you've played fantastic throughout and shared your knowledge and experience along the way. Hope you get back to high spirits soon after your unfortunate run in the main event & wishing Bob the best of luck Sending love from UK!
The fact you feel emotional about this Main Event even being a profesional poker player means you don't lose your illusion about this incredible game. Be proud for that. You will have the chance again for many, many years in the future becouse you earn that oportunity doing the right things and with a lot of hard working inside and outside the tables. Thanks a lot for share this daily experience and your felings with so many people, like me, that can't be there and maybe never will do. #morebob #morelexy
Lexy, we all have emotions and you and Bob gave us much joy, poker education, and fun on this journey... Great time do not get down on the set of KK and the full house we all need our cards to hold when we get it in with good hands...Love you guys and Please get some RR
Lexy, I appreciate how much hard work and dedication you put into sharing your experience with all of us. I really enjoy seeing behind the scenes and appreciate your hand analysis. You and Bob are awesome. Keep crushing!! 🙌🙌🙌
Lexy, thanks so much for filming even when it hurts. You definitely were running bad today. I hope you run golden in your next tournament and take it down!
Another great vlog Lexi. I recently discovered your vlog (we played on same table in the Mystery I think) and am now subscribed and huge fan. You (and Bob) are great! I wasn’t able to play the Main but watching this video made me feel like I was playing it. Thank you! Keep up the excellent work!
Bob has a very powerful temple touch game when he's pondering. What you don't leave us vlog viewers pondering is the connection ya'll clearly have, and why you make the choices at the table in certain spots. I bet coffee with Lexi & Bob in the morning would be hilarious and enthralling, especially if there were at least 7 #morebob Dad jokes. Good luck always to both of you!
Really appreciate, enjoy, and look forward to your daily Vlogs along with Daniel's ! Forget the haters who have have no idea about tournament poker variance. Letting us view the highs and the lows takes alot ! And you always include some good advise, like the dinner portion this Vlog. Hope you run better in your next tourney. Good luck to you both !
crazy unfortunate coolers ... thanks so much for all the great content! definitely satisfying for a working stiff like me in NYC who’s not able to play in WSOP events. Lexy = Best
So enjoy your vlog and your willingness to just put yourself out there. Your hubby seems like a great guy - you two seem great together. Every experienced player, even us recs, know what it's like to run BAD! Boat over boat, set over set, always 2nd best - you can't even nurse a small stack because when you play only premium hands you are still getting crushed. Best of luck in the upcoming tournaments!
Omg! I don’t think it’s normal for people to wish for other’s defeat. Brakes my heart for good people like you two not to succeed. There is something wrong with those who don’t want you two to do well! Love you guys! ❤️
Hey Lexy, Don't ever feel like you're letting us down. The fact that you Vlog your WSOP experience is good enough for me. Win or Lose, you're still fun to watch & we love you and Bob no matter what. Here's another fun fact, those of us that watch you are players & WSOP is somewhat of a pipedream for most of us. But I want to talk to you. I have keen sense of observation. I pay attention to everything and it gets me into trouble sometimes. I saw a vlog from you earlier this WSOP where you said " you like to attack the game" & this vlog you speak of the pressures of vlogging during the WSOP. Question for you, are you changing your game ever so slightly because you feel like you have to produce for the vlog? You don't have to answer to me, you're the PRO. I just wanted to give you some food for thought. #MoreBob
Please don't feel like you have to apologize to your followers. You played great, just got coolered multiple times and you never gave up. Can't do any more than that. Again, you made our day when you took time out of your hectic schedule for some pics. My wife was over the moon. I'm sure you guys do this all the time for others as well. Even tho you're bummed about the Main, you have no idea how many people you touch with the vlog. You both are great, and good things will come your way!! Big believer in Karma. Good luck to you both, in poker and in life!❤
Anyone who is not supportive or are “haters/jealous” are nobodies, IMO. They have no idea that what you are doing is very much like trying to win the lottery. You are so brave to share your experience at all. And my last input is, recreational players are the most dangerous, IMO, because they will not play the same as professional would expect a professional to play, at all. #morebob #lotsmorelexy❤️❤️🌹🌹
Hi Bob, with your AK and A on flop big mistake to check needed to made a big bet rather win what on table or to loose later on. QQ would have not called so early in tournament, in big game like that i always like to play agresive. Most players. playing safe on 1 st day and that is my time to hit hard
Hello Lexi and Bob...I am from Chicago and I enjoy watching your vlog ..you two are so funny and charming and get along so well!! Thanks for vlog and I am rooting for you two
Your Bobby Boy cracked me up twice! Talking about his 'above average' size, not stack and then later when you busted he was pissed! Lexy, sorry about your crappy ME day. Love watching you two.
#MoreBob #MoreLexy #More Gather. You two are the best and and very fortunate to have each other. I hate when I have been boat over boat....UGH! I get tilted when I bust out. Good thing I wear helmet riding my bike. Hang tough and be strong.
Keep at it Lexy. The Main, from different vlogs & streams, seems to get a range of player abilities and hence frustration. It was nice to hear your feelings come out and I'm sure there is way more positive support than neg for you. PS - The F' Off comment at the end was gold - really made me laugh. Cheers. Tim from Oz 😊
Hey Lexy, I played yesterday and battled all day and Thank The Lord, I bagged up 78,300. I’m sorry for your loss!😥I stood on your rail for awhile, trying to bring you Luck but it didn’t work this time! Good Luck in the Lucky 7s!🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
@@LexyGavinPoker You are so sweet! My Luck comes from God, so anything is possible! You and Bob are my friends! So if you see any where, just walk up and say hi because it will brighten my day!😊
Hi. Wow. Thank you for sharing this with us. Passion is fueled by emotion and passion is a must have for the grind IMO. I thought i was the only one who has run crazy bad like that. Excited to see u in some of the future ones and will stake u a bit here and there when i can. I have learned so much. Looking forward to your book.
You’re great! Keep up the positive attitude and it was so nice to talk to you in the hallway and meet Bob in line at the Horseshoe. PS: Do you want to be my coach? - Ashley
Hey Lexy.. Sorry your Christmas morning wasnt so fun.. It sucks that they dont allow rebuys in the main event. But listen, i know its a tough pill to swallow, but dont get down on yourself. Were still rooting for you, win , lose, or draw.. Remember, what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.. !!! ❤❤❤
@@LexyGavinPoker Aw slight mistake, on WSOPcom they put Bob on 0 chips, now I see he's sitting next to champ Salas, he's still in! Go Bob, Go BTO! May he run like Jamie in 2006!
🎉 Looking forward for the updates. Hope you both get 1st and 2nd place. I think Bob played his had good. You both are so funny. What a great couple you both are. Oh shoot you busted out; Dangit! That desert looked super yummy .
Awwww! It is really ok. Let's think future...next one and all the ones after that!! Also, what tourneys do you and Bob play in CA? We might just just fly out and join you all for that!!
I saw some of the negative comments I just feel sorry for these poor guys Who watches a vlog and sit write those comments It just makes them weird 😂😂 I love your honesty and sharing your feelings and I really appreciate your support and ideas for other woman poker players like me ❤
Chin up, keep grinding. Always rooting for you. Thanks for the vlogs. and at the very least... you get to play poker for a living, unlike the rest of us humps going to work every day, lucky if I can get to Atlantic City once every other month and have to live through you and Daniel and youtube!
19:53 After enough bad beats, you just come to expect it. It's hard not to get tilted when you get beat by a bad hand/bad player. It takes discipline and a positive attitude to get past it, and just let it go. It's like the old saying "expect the worst, and pray for the best." It sure feels great though when your pocket aces actually do survive the sea of suckouts...and, it's such a pleasant surprise. 😉 Keep on grinding, gf! Go get that bracelet!! You deserve it!! 👍🔥
Well done you guys ,with so many players is heavy tough, and because there is so many non professional players it is very difficult putting some players on hands, and some will call with about anything and might get lucky , not bad play just the lucky part coming in
I love how no matter what you find a way to be positive and not say negative things. Even when you have all the excuse in the world. Very admirable personality trait. I hope you guys have some luck soon! EDIT: 65s is a fold UTG+2 with 50 bbs #MOREBOB! Lol just playin.
Love the VLOGs, you mentioned earlier this year that Orange is your lucky color, so next year you need to walk into the main looking like Rickie Fowler LOL 😂
Love playing tournaments.. (Dont love da variance) Cash game tomorrow Melbourne fl. / Mid day, its busiest day ofvwk. , $2/$5 in for a Thousand . Run it up.. Good content y'all. 👍🏽
How do you fold trip Ks where only 2 hands can beat you?? He could easily had 9/10 or bet thinking you were bluffing missing your flush draw... If he had the nuts he would have value betted after river and not checked
sorry but that fold with the set of K’s was ridiculously bad. you are a nice person, and Bob is hilarious, but you should not be coaching or giving advice. the vlogs are great and entertaining but the poker strategy is not strong.
Do the ChatPros criticize because they are emotionally invested in Lexi and care or because they just have to be assholes? Poker players who do this for a career are usually hyper critical of their play. They don't need you to insert your novice assumptive opinions. If you want to ask why she did something a certain way, that's one thing... to tell her what she needs to do is another. Your ignorance and arrogance to make that comment is annoying. "you should not be coaching or giving advice" - Wtf, who is you bro? At the end of the day she makes content that people enjoy, and she gives solid poker tips and advice. 😊 Keep going Lexi!
@@LexyGavinPoker i agree the big raise is concerning, and it’s certainly possible that he has a straight. But it’s much more likely that he has a set of 9’s or 10’s (or even 6’s) if he is a solid player. it’s not even your fold that i don’t like - it’s your desire to check the river at the end when you are at the very top of your range which is exactly when you should get 3 streets of value. there are not better spots to wait for - that literally is the dream scenario. also, a solid player is also more likely to raise the turn with the nut straight, and as someone else mentioned, would never check the river and risk losing value at the end. so there are bluff possibilities too, making a call much more correct here.
Keep your head up and keep smiling. You have already won just being able to play, and when you least expect it, you will bink the big one. Good luck, both of you.
Wow... crazy hands that you, unfortunately, were on the wrong end of. I was even yelling at my screen, "Ace or Queen... come on Ace or Queen!" Just crush in the next ones and keep us updated on #MoreBob's run... pulling for him!
The dinner tip is real. Learned that on Day 1A, went to the steak house, had surf&turf. Over ate, felt like shit next level, ran my stack from 98k to 57k. Starting feeling better midway thru the last level, ran the stack back up to 95k to bag
I have cried.... I bubbled two huge tournaments IN A ROW. Stone cold bubble both times. Got blinded out the 2nd time and a guy had less than me but blinds hit me first. I was crushed!!! Took a few months off not long after that. Losing sucks extra hard when you get that far and walk away with nothin.
You guys are doing great to get even 1 cash in these big pool events shows you are both good players. Only jealous people comment negatively. Remember you are holding the mirror and what people say is a reflection of them.
@@LexyGavinPoker I use to play and do pretty good at my local casino. Would love to cash at WSOP but need to get into bigger buy in events. Came with my 6K after covid and they wouldn't let me play because I did not Vax due to having covid within 90 days. Kinda turned me sour toward WSOP.
Unlucky lexy, I think when you’ve played poorly you can say there’s no excuse’s but when you get sucked out on after playing well you can’t do no more. On the first break that’s the first time I’ve seen the both of you really down, at least you both have a shoulder to cry on 😊 Your time will come. 👍🏻
