In his IG "story" Alex said once that there was a metal piece of the saw that got launched in his head while doing some "hand-work" metal/wood cutting. So he got really lucky that this metal piece flew on the side of his face. Can`t prove that it is so, but I'm 90% sure about it.

They're really dope live, the energy at their shows is way better than most bands nowadays! Also I'm pretty sure the face mark is a phase of scarification, I don't think the skin has fully healed in this video.
@@kylew6635 no its more deep in the beginning and here in this video that was done just weeks before, now it looks like a regular scar that you see with scarification

I agree , FF has the clean/growls before slipknot , the heavy base and the drumcomputer like drumpatterns . Especially in their first albums FF also has that industrial techy undertone that STP sometime has. More Slipknotty for sure but it has alot in common with FF as well.
So does STP but when soul of a new machine by FF came out almost everyone thought it was a computer not a real drummer :) . And there are people out there that doubt mr. Novikov can do what he does.
