I always do bc it usually has the cubing logo on it so it's easy to pick out

it is symmetric so i don't see why not, would prob make identifying what algorihtim he needs to use harder tho if it is mostly visual

Top cubers identify which color has the "easiest cross solution" within the first 1 or 2 seconds of inspection and pick that color for their base. If you do this, you are considered a "color neutral" cuber. However it is very hard to be color neutral on 3x3 and bigger cubes if you don't learn to be from the beginning. Most intermediate solvers always choose white or maybe some other color to which they are used to (but always the same color).

Thats what i thought when i first saw a rubiks cube, it seemed so big and complicated then i realised using the basic algorithms, it seems so much smaller and easier now i look at it like its a 1x1, you just need to dedicate yourself to learning these algorithms!!

exactly 💀 like performing f2l is easy but i swear it's js so hard to locate each pair

I've been practicing my lookahead for the last like month and yes it's super difficult, but so worth it my average is still only about 18 to 20 seconds sometimes 17 but my pb is 12.73 and I could've screamed when I did that. Practice it no matter how frustrating it is do it and it'll make you elated.
