The only after on a spiritual awakening is death in this body . The ego is always present amd shadow work never ends. Considering yourself spiritual as I used to is also a part of your ego. Am a spiritual being yes but I consider myself none of these things . Remembering the aftermath of trauma and removal of toxic people. Stood in front of the mirror flooded with thoughts that I kept saying that is not mine. Out with all that was not going to further serve me. Rather interesting as not only was I removing my beliefs but also removing the thoughts contracted from others with severe mental emotional and spiritual illness. Never did I think that I never truely knew me. Ha...I know myself more then ever but if one asked me to explain myself I know nothing forever.

@truthseeker2222 it's not narcissistic whatsoever. It's buddhism for dummies. anyone can be a "chosen one". So few end up being "chosen" because most people chase material possessions thinking they'll eventually be fulfilled, always chasing something they can never attain with their current mindset. I see it as 100% of people or nearly 100% of people are capable of growing mentally and spiritually throughout their lives (chosen) but 1% or less will actually pursue things beyond the material.
