As someone who grew up not as a Filipina but luckily surrounded by my bffs who were I gained a love and respect for the culture but especially the food. I LOVED watching the role mama played in everyones lives and how loved she was but am especially grateful for her cooking videos. I remember her having a few on your channel w/ Benji long before she started her own channel. It's nice to hear the fond memories but grief is tough to navigate so remember to give yourself grace. Trust yourself and your instincts. Sending the family love and light
I saw the uploads go up and immediately thought of you Judy. I knew how you said a little while back that you couldn’t bring yourself to watch any of the old videos. I’m so happy you’re at a place where you can now. She was so loved, and the first video you posted back with the big girls made me cry. I’ve been following since before Julianna was born and I just have to say you are the most beautiful human - inside and out - that I have ever seen. Your authenticity, your kindness, your pure love for your family - it radiates in the most simplest ways but it is also SO inspiring. I was 17 when I first started watching you and now I’m 29, with my almost 3 year old and I feel as though you are my big sister guiding me through all of these life moments. Mama mentioned that it was good luck to wear polka dot on NYE and since then Ive always done it. But also when i have interviews or need some extra luck. So I think of your mom all of the time when I see polka dots, including today when i slipped on my polka dot socks.

I feel you Judy. My mom died in 2020 and the year after that was the saddest. Like we miss her when there were family occasions without her, or when we remember her through food. It's just sad. Stay strong Judy!
I’ve been watching you guys for many years I seen in a vlog recently benji gently parenting but strict and straight to the point when one of the younger girls was throwing a fit and I’d LOVE to see that more often so I can try to navigate that myself. I was 17 when I started watching you guys and now 25. You two taught me how to parent better than any way I’ve ever seen growing up, love you both so sooo much!

Judy, I just wanted to make you know that you sharing with us all you have been going through ever since mama passed has really shown me what healthy grieving looks like. Seeing you be so open and allow yourself to feel is very inspiring. It’s such good modeling for the girls as well. They will learn it’s healthy and that grief is love simply persevering.
Rewatching your vlogs, Leah definitely saw Mama in the sky and that she was smiling back at her and everyone in your family. Leah would say "I miss Mama", I remember in the bouncy castle vlog, in a vlog where you were on your way upstairs putting the littles to bed.. Leah always would say she misses Mama. 🥺This is Mama's way of letting Leah and your family know she is always there and gives Leah comfort, which is truly beautiful. ❤ I'm glad Leah shared that moment with you, what a smart little one
Sending all my love & big hugs to you Judy!! 💕💕 it’s okay to let all your emotions out & it just shows how much of an impact mama made 🥰 it’s been 3 years since I lost my grandma & I still can’t get myself to listen to her voice messages, it still hurts but at the same time it makes me happy knowing they’re there for when I can listen. & knowing they’re in a better place gives me some comfort ♥️ I get worried to bring up my grandma because I don’t want to make my mom sad but as time goes on, I can see she enjoys when I bring up memories & makes her smile now instead of crying. I know the pain will never go away, but eventually you will be filled with comfort & just remembering all the good times & that God gave you the biggest blessing of having Mama in your life. I hope you feel comfort & peace & never feel bad for being sad ♥️ we love you & your family & are thankful we got to experience mama’s love through the videos 🥰

It's so fun to watch Keira learn to sew! I've always loved sewing, and I distinctly remember the first dress I made. I was in the 3rd grade, and I proudly wore it to school! The fabric is still vivid in my mind. 😊 Later on, in middle school, my girl friends and I made matching shirts. Sewing was a common thing in the 60s!
Judy, loosing your mom has to be the toughest thing. I recently lost my grandma and that was so hard for me. The memories of her make me want to cry. I don’t know when or if this will ever stop. We have the memories with these special people and remembering is hard. But I’m glad I have those memories and you as well. The girls are lucky to have spent time with her and still remember her. 💕
We are here for you. I lost my Dad in July 2023 and it’s still very hard for me. I like to keep his spirit alive not just for me but for my kids too. Sending love ❤️
That last clip… of Leah saying she misses mama…. Broke my heart. My son and daughter say I miss uncle Luke randomly and it breaks my heart… but thankful our loved ones are no longer in pain and is watching over us
it's weird how grief hits us so hard at random times. I remember I lost my grandfather a week or two before seeing your post that Mama passed away too, which was very sudden, hence resonating with your posts throughout the year when it comes to her. it's almost a year now when he left us, tears just falls down on the most random days.
