Love this tractor its so compact will fit in anywhere . Best in the new barn for feed and scraping . Don't forget to go bigger not smaller for the new barn you will always expand but never go down. Spend the $"s now to expeand just little later will cost you 2-3 x's more $.0n auto scrapers check for guarantee & how much to replace the blades your scraper now seems good.

There's something about this tractor that just espouses 'right tool'. I had the same feeling when I bought my Sony PXW-FS7 camera and it proved to be the right tool not only for me and many, many others and a huge success for Sony. Sony said the same thing that Ross said, 'we've sold more than we expected to' (or words to that effect). Some things are just right.

This could be the perfect tractor for you. You don’t need the front linkage but it’s a great option to have 👍 you and Ginge deserve it.

@@jacksmyth8269 noo we ran 120 hp on double krone 280 cvs on 900 rpms condtioner speed and the graas plate on stance spinach. Tractor runs it with no problem. As illustration my fendt 514 turned up to 165 hp then runs 12 to 20kph on cuts. www.tractorfan.nl/picture/1306485/user/30460/

You probably need a weight to hang on the front links. When [not if] you get one, don't go overboard. About 500kgs will be more than adequate hanging way out on the links. Easy to drop off when its not needed, which will be most of the time. You will probably only need the ballast for using the fertiliser spreader and a few other heavy implements on the back end, seeing as your farm is almost dead flat.

Wow! What a piece of kit! And from the one and only Mr. John Cornthwaite! Legend! Illustrates perfectly how farming has progressed over the last 30 years. Incredible. Good to see Tom from 'Cornies' delivering. Knows how to drive on the roads around Nateby! Good to support local businesses. Post Covid will be vital to do so.

Impressive, Case do seem to do a lovely tractor. IMHO it's got a lot going for it. Engine size/power is good. 600 rear tyres. The front forks for a weight block extra ballast. Electrical and mechanical spools. Is it a 40 or 50 kph? Then I take it 4 cylinder should be a little more manoeuvrable. Could be the start of a long love affair, just hope Joanna isn't the jealous type. " No honestly darling I had to stay late at the office again" 😂😂

I would go up in power. Yes a great all round tractor but ye are starting to do a lot of bigger work (pulling tanker, when silage comes around pulling trailers) always nice to have that extra bit of power!

the other bonus to front mower other then it cuts your mowing time in half you don't have to run over the crop when u start a field and front mower by itself you can get into tight fields with hair turns

Tractors have come a long way since one of the first tractors we had. One of the first tractors I drove was a John Deere G tricycle wheel model. The very first tractor I worked the ground with was a small David Brown. My father put me on it out in the middle of a pasture field. He showed me the basics and told me to just drive it around until he stopped me. That was the day I graduated 3rd grade. The next day he hooked a 2 bottom plow to it and put me to plowing our bottom field.

I own a 1969 Case backhoe, 1994 Case 1194, 1954 JD track loader and 1949 JD bull dozer...great tractors that will never die as long as I maintain them. I’ll buy a new tractor when they stop making them in China and bring quality production home! (Do you know the difference between FAT chance and NO chance? ..yeah, well I’m not going to hold my breath)

That is a sweet looking workhorse! I so hope it works out as youre both hoping and gains a permanent home with you in the near future! I like it already due to the short body of it. Wish we had one instead of our 1947 H Farmall! It was a bit too long, clunky and stiff, but its what we had and made due. Nice to have it coming into all the tasks involved this time of year. It should have a great chance to show itself either as a so-so, hum drum, “well it runs” piece of equipment or an absolute beast that tears through the work with hardly any effort. Im really hoping for beast mode!! Have fun, good luck and God bless! I’ll say a prayer for your poor drone as well!

WARNING! I used to make my tea/ coffee with hot water straight from the tank and it made me very ill. And the problem was traced back to the hot water tank in the dairy. So now always boil the kettle now. Love the videos!

Tom please do me a massive favor and get a fire extinguisher in that tractor Our new holland which is a cnh set on fire at the beginning of the month It was 15 months old with only 1900 hours on It went up with no warning signs A fire extinguisher wouldn’t have helped ours as it went up so quick but still safety is so important and I’m so glad I’m alive and unhurt

Almost went for the same tractor as you Tom, but in the end went for a Deere 5125R fully loaded on 600 tyres with loader. Farm here in Donegal Ireland is VERY wet and steep. Good luck with your CASE.

I had a 300 Optum for a couple of days on demo a few year ago. Getting used to the CVX transmission on a silage clamp was completely different being used to a JD6215R- especially rolling the edges. Very good lights, quite a nice very comfy machine. The mirrors were quite good because it had two different types. 'Normal' and the smaller wide angle which covered the bottom of the rear wheels nicely. If it is like the Optum- then it will be a nice machine. Unfortunately I didn't get to do draft work to see what grunt she had.
