Having taught at st. John's prep in astoria I can attest to the salad bowl small c catholic nature of this experience. The hyphenated american aspirant starts there like it did for all those who previously entered at ellis island. The human palate has to be satisfied if you're human so if you are a foodie adventurer you dont need to be an anthony bourdain and travel the world. Just go to nyc and queens for a taste tour of the UN.
Any chance you'd do a video in Ozone Park/Howard Beach, Queens one day. I'd LOVE to see it. Grew up there my entire childhood in to adult hood and now reside in South Carolina. Love your videos. Can't stop watching. Also, I keep hearing you mention (Sick Plug) your Titanic Video, but cannot find it on your channel. Is it still up?
Sadly, the American dream in New York is dissolving large due to the high cost of living. Many of these dreamers would be better off moving to Austin, as many Ex-New Yorkers are already doing. Austin's art scene is growing rapidly and it is largely composed of people from California, New York, and Massachusetts. Austin has a large jobs market and a relatively low cost of living.
Check again, Austin texas housing market was a bubble. Austin texas don't have famous buildings and no subway rails. Also duplex homes are not ideal for metropolitan area. We can see that in Shanghai, China.
