This project completed by the BEST IN THE BUSINESS! 💯 The dam will stand the test of time, and look beautiful when the grass comes in! 👍 A jaw dropping transformation, Chris. 👏 You are THE POND KING! 🤴
You are an absolutely awesome guy Chris! You were very sick and still showing up to work at 0700 each day and then after a long day, going home and editing and posting a video for us. I surely do appreciate that so thank you sir!
So great to see everything done right and I overly enjoyed watching this whole project. Dam packed in with good clay, nicely leveled and sloped, super duty overflow box, top soil dressed, A proud Barney being part of the fleet.... Man you deliver a good finished product!!!
I stumbled upon the first video of this project from a month ago…WOW! what an amazing transformation, Chris! You REALLY converted a turd into a gorgeous gem of a pond system! Pat yerself on the back for all us fans! 👍👍👊👊💥💥💥💥
Awesome Job. Chris fought through flu, rain and fixing a mess from prior construction. I always look forward to seeing the before and after. The transformation is always a great calling card.
Just as I predicted, this has become my favorite LD18 video. I know these videos don't show the amount of time and effort that goes into these jobs, but I can say without any reservation... this job turned out to be nothing short of spectacular! I'd 'almost' give my left testicle to have you transform my little 3 1/2 acre pond into one of your masterpieces. The levee repair I had done last year leaves a lot to be desired...
You are so smooth with that heavy equipment. It's like an extension, a magnification of yourself. Awesome. Your comments on how and why add a lot to the clips.
it's amazing what you can do with a neglected pond Chris. love to watch a man at work who knows what he's doing. Great job, Great channel. love to watch your amazing skills with your equipment.
Such a wonderful conclusion to this project. I feel slightly sad that it's over if I'm honest?! The project / location became more familiar with each video, and it felt like I was turning up for work there, each day. A fantastic job! And as other have said, a definite revisit is needed on this one.
I feel the same way....a little sad that it's over but can't wait to see it full with grass on it...ready to get to the next job....just let me know time to clock in...
Wow - I must admit, this was of my favorites. Knocked this one "out of the park"! I can't say enough about your work ethic and whatever you are doing, you do it right. Yep - I think this was one of the greats! Thanks Chris!
Chris, this was an awesome transformation. It was a hot mess to start, the dam was downright dangerous, huge holes on the backside, a hodge podge of overflow pipes that didn’t work so good, swampy mess at the top end with fallen dead trees etc. Now look at it, I can imagine it filled with water, grass grown around the edge making it a fish, frog & bird paradise🐟🐸🦆🐦 The owner missed the opportunity to install a dock with the water drained, still can be done though. Loved this series, you are “The Pond Master” mate. Hope you feel better. Take care & cheers🐨🦘🥰
WOW! This looks great! At the beginning I thought this is going to take forever. But you got it done even being sick. Congratulations on a job well done! 👏
Chris, first off well done! In my opinion, this is the best job you have filmed to date! These large pond projects really give you a chance to show off your talents. Having the raw materials on site was a big plus for sure. It takes skill, imagination, and the right equipment to do the job you did on this pond. Kudos for working thru your sickness as you did. Most would have been M.I.A. I look forward to the next " Mini-Series" of Large pond transformation 101. 50 or 100 acres pond redo or build would be a subscriber magnet!
Certainly one of the most entertaining projects you have done for us watchers, and very challenging for you to do given all the obstacles you overcome, even to include a few days with "Crud". You did overcome and certainly the finish produce is awesome. Thank you for sharing. I am sure the customer is very pleased or he should be.
This has been an awesome pond series, been excited to see a new video upload notification when I come home from work. Such a great job and so sad to see series ending. Keep more pond video's coming! Please give us and updated video when pond fills up. Thanks!
Must be my favourite project so far. :) Looks absolutely great. I can almost imagine it all greened in where it should be. ;) Hope you go back for those shots of it too later. Thanks for the whole series and all the new camera angles along the way Chris. Top stuff. :) You sound a lot better now too. ;)
Chris. That project looks great that owner should be happy as a clam. Thank You for the video and takeing us on the walk along. Please Take Care of your self Plus Be Very Care Full around all Equipment 😁😎
I would love to see all of the work done like vegetation and fish and watch the pond mature. Like bamma bass. I would watch every episode of both. ✌🏻🇺🇸
Absolutely incredible transformation!! The KING of mud & dirt has spoken!! You did a spectacular job!! The last 10 minutes of this video would be an awesome advertising video to send out to prospective customers! You can't argue with perfection! On to the next one. Take Care, Jim
Good series for sure! So awesome to see Barney your new dumptruck hall dirt like a champ!!! Makes me hungry for a big hal truck like that. What a huge difference to his appearance with paint and decals
Hi Chris! I just thought I'd jump in and say that the project was absolutely enjoyable to watch. All of your projects are fun to see! I hope the cold is better, too. Stay cool.
Excellent renewal, will stand the test of time. Your planning and progressive steps are very skillfully thought out and conceived. Would like to see this after summer with all the grass grown and any follow up to the dam road surface. Great job!
Beautiful! (Please chicken wire that cement hole..? baby duckies ! Wildlife rehabber here- I can't tell you how many baby animals especially ducks I've retrieved from sewer grates ugh.) Moms walk over babies fall in) Thanks so much for helping water fowl have a great pond to land in , awesome!!!
It is really amazing how you have turned that neglected pond into one that any of us would love to have on our property. Thank you for bring us along on your work days. We love watching your videos because it is a joy for my wife and I to be able to watch a craftsman that you are in turning all of the neglected pond into things of beauty. Keep up your great work and like you said on Dirt perfect pod cast you will never have to advertise for work. Thank You for all that you show us .
you are the POND DAMM MASTER sir!!!!!!!!!!! Very impressive work Chris. can't wait to see the lake full. Hope you let us see the finished project once it's full. now back to movin mud.
Absolutely beautiful work, quality craftsmanship. That's what built this great nation. They must be ecstatic with the results. I can't wait to see it full and the damn covered in grass.
That’s the biggest project I’ve seen you do up to this point. Been watching your work for about 5 months to date. Turned out to be the nicest job I’ve seen you do.
I still think the veterinary clinic was the hardest job. They removed the top soil and found out the whole site was solid rock and needed to be blasted and removed.
@@GKsGS400 That was a doozy. Then the crew came in to hammer the rock and missed a bunch and had to come back like 3 different times because Chris just kept finding rock. That had to have taken a mental toll on Chris as well. By far the toughest job I've seen on this channel, not only for Chris, but also for the equipment.
@@GKsGS400 The first video I watched was the one where he went and recovered a rental excavator that was buried up to the cab door and he used matting allowing him to get out to it. I said to myself ( this guy has it together ) been watching his videos ever since.
@@keithashline505 There's also one where he goes to his buddy's property and drives a mini out of the mud when his friend couldn't get it out. Was cool seeing how he broke the suction on it and pulled it out under it's own power.
Awesome project Chris, it must be really satisfying for you to be able to pull a job this significant utilizing all your own plant and equipment, apart from the roller. You've come a long way in the 6 or 7 years I have been tagging along. A great achievement mate well done.
Another project to be proud of, a huge transformation to that dam. I looked forward to every video. The drone footage certainly shows the scale of the pond and how much you achieved.
What a difference! You have really improved that piece of property ten fold. I’m like the rest of the viewers hope you can find the time to take some drone shots after the pond fills and the grass comes up. I have watched and seen a lot of damns put in but, never anything like you. Great videos and thanks for sharing all of them with us!
Its finished.. with all the hall marks of a Letsdig 18 is known for! Its neat, it really looks good, the lines of the damn and surrounding area are crisp and clean. Nice job. I had to smile when you called the man whos tractor you pulled out Mr. Darryl.. As a child growing up in North Carolina it was not necessary to remember the whole name of the adult you were speaking to just as long as you put Mr or Mrs infront :-)
💥Fantastic series and a outcome to be truly be proud of. I really expect you to get a nomination for a Grammy for this one. At the banquet don't be cracking any jokes about Mrs. DP and her camper she's never getting or Mike may feel the need to slap you down🤣. Really glad to see your dream coming together, you deserve all of it.👍🏼 The fleet is looking pristine.
Fantastic professionally crafted outcome Chris . You were the Man for that job . This should sell some future big jobs . Favorite one yet so far .........
Unbelievable! If I didn’t follow from the start, I wouldn’t know it is the same pond. Heck of a good job Chris! Hope we can get a shot of it after it’s full of water.
this has been the best transformation yet. I am very impressed with your ability to forsee the end result and use all of whats available. This is not just being a great operator it is also art.
You sure sound A LOTT BETTER, I'm glad. Now, as ALWAYS very nicely done. I REALLY HOPE to see a follow up video showing you guy's awesome work with a full pond. 🙏👍👊
What a great project with outstanding results, it’s been my favourite to watch it to completion You are a master of making good decisions with quality workmanship
Best project I’ve watched. Great to see the start to end to help fully understand the size of the project. Your videos over the years have tempted me into the groundwork arena here in 🇬🇧 as I head into my retirement years. Loving it. Get well soon 👍🏻
