Thing almost dying is the best scene of the show. It seems ridiculous on the surface but it works because of Wednesday's backstory with the pet scorpion and of course her acting.

and answering to your question yes Uncle Fester is part of the addams family movies not the same actor but the character is well known.

Uncle Fester has been part of the family since the 1938 comic strips. The 60s TV series and specials, the 70s cartoons, the 90s movies, 90 TV series, and the 2 CGI animated movies 2019 & 2021.

This is also my favorite episode, mainly because Uncle Fester is my favorite Addams Family character as far back from the original series from the 60's and the two movies and Thing being a close 2nd, so the two of them interacting together in this series was Awesome, and the emotion that Wednesday portrayed when Thing was dying OMG Jenna is an Amazing actress.

I think Wednesday would have found the movie Pretty In Pink (1986) scarier. You're in denial about Tyler. They did say that visions are unreliable so you have that.

thank you... i always think, why does nobody else see that, when the monster appears.... i thought that the monsters eyes look like the eyes of the coffee-guy(tyler) the first time a saw the monster... thank you for pointing that out...
