And what a fantastically beautiful voice he has. This song was my introduction to Dan, in early October 2023, and I have been addicted ever since. You have a wonderful journey ahead of you as you experience more of this truly phenomenal artist. I'll second a few of the suggestions already made for what might be next on your list: I'll Make a Man out of You, A Kiss from a Rose, or Burn Butcher Burn. If you'd like to get a glimpse of the classical side of Dan, try The Music of the Night, the Gethsemane scene from Jesus Christ Superstar, or the opera aria Nessun Dorma. Dan Vasc is from Brazil, he is classically trained and can sing from opera to heavy metal and everything in between. No matter what you choose, it won't be wrong. Dan has over 200 videos to choose from.
I agree. Dan's version of "O Holy Night" is SUPERB! However, you might want to watch his two other Christmas Offerings (they're on the same playlist, now), and maybe his one-man, 24-voice choir (Handel's Hallelujah Chorus) before venturing into "O Holy Night." 😀
This is the beautiful rendition of this beloved song I will ever hear. He provides the power that the message in this song needs to convey. Dan has stated he is a Christian and put this out for Easter. Dan has over 200 videos out there done over several years as he perfected his craft. Some want him to be a Christian singer because of this song but Dan is a metal singer to his bones who not incidentally is a metal singer. Most of his stuff is secular in nature but almost always with an uplifting or empowering message. There are many genres to choose from in his work. He has not done country though, Dan is from Brazil. One piece from earlier years he did was the "insane" work he did with Handel's Hallelujah. There is also a duet he did with Violet Orlandi (with his friend Victor the Guitar Nerd doing instrumentals) on Kiss from a Rose. Dan introduced me to what metal music can do; I had no use for it before I discovered this amazing artist through this song.
Dan consistently brings out the best rendition I have ever heard when he covers a song. He knows what sounds best, and with his strong and beautiful voice, he does it all so incredibly well. Such a beautiful performance from Dan, this is the best rendition of this song that I have ever heard. He is a very talented artist and has many brilliant songs on his channel it’s difficult to know what to suggest. It depends what type of music you prefer. He does a wonderful duet with Violet Orlandi of Seals song “Kiss From A Rose” which is just perfect. To be honest I would be happy to listen to anything that you choose from him as all his songs are top notch. From there I fell into the Dan Vasc rabbit hole! “Dawn of A New World” is another great song!! I guess picking a favorite would be like picking a favorite child. Impossible!!
