Today on Uber Eats on a motorcycle the day starts seeing a crazy collision right in front of me. We get quite a bit of Uber Eats orders and see a bunch of cool new areas. CHEAH !
I t-boned a charger at 55mph on my Grom because he turned into oncoming traffic. Doctor said my helmet 100% saved my life. Broke my hip, pelvis, foot, and wrist. Was able to swing my leg over another bike 8 months later thankfully.
I was working outside of a bank in a busy city last summer and noticed this dirt bike drive by like twice in a week both times had to been 45mph in a 25. Unfortunately that friday I saw him fly by and unfortunately a bus was turning he hit the buses back side cracked a window and made a huge dent. Unfortunately he passed away immediately blood was everywhere. He wasnt wearing a helmet :( it hit me for 2 weeks how I had seen him ride his bike those two times, he went home. Had a routine. Was probably going home after work. And suddenly it was just over. I think about him often.
Start a channel and talk about your EMT experiences… get other EMTs and combat medics to come on and share theirs. Maybe help some people and grow respect for the field 🫡
@@tizzin8r funny you should say that. And I appreciate the suggestion I am currently shooting a documentary for Telus optical TV about that exact subject I do talk a little bit about it on my channel. I’ve just actually started that. But once the documentary is completed and they’ve run it through their TV circuit, it becomes my domain, and I can do whatever I want with it, and I will be posting it on my channel
I live in Brazil and am doing deliveries here with multiple apps, we have a few other options like Lalamove, iFood, and a bunch of other ones. Starting to record some videos of my day to day and I was thinking I'll subtitle them in English, that could be interesting, hadn't seen anyone in the US doing these vlogs, it's dope. Hadn't watched your vids in a long time, really like these videos!!
I wonder if the NAPAs out in Cali do Uber eats and Door Dash like they do here. That'd be fun trying to load up a brake job for a truck on the back of a motorcycle.
Had an X uncle out there who was a battalion chief with the forestry department, retired sold his place for a bazillion doll hairs, move here, and paid cash for a nice little ranch.
Buddy of mine is an ambulance driver. Sees crazy stuff. Story he tells most is on his day off, he had to save a guy whose AR-15 blew up next to him at a gun range. Had to stick a thumb in his neck till a real ambulance showed up. Every one lived. Too hot of a load.
Yep, Uber isn't paying that extra salary from their own pocket, they transfert that extra cost to the customer. It means less customers on the long run and more time waiting until everybody stops using Uber eat altogether.
I agree, I wonder if they could also pay less for the delivery so it makes it same for the delivery driver. That way they can keep their customer base.
Not a first responder, but my best friend used to be and my ex girlfriends entire family was. God bless them. The stories they've told me are life changing events for a normal person and they see them regularly. If you dont separate yourself from the job, it'll screw you up for life. One of the most courageous jobs. People dont realize it until they need them.
Ehh bro..happy Saturday Vibes from the Future, 8 dollars for 8 miles definitely sounds like a big Hella no. Glad you've stuck to it these are interesting to watch an I get to see new things I don't see in my daily country offgrid life
I feel ya when it comes to the oil burning I got a 1988 sp 125 same exact bike as the DR just different colors and transmission. These bikes are reliable af but MAN even after a fresh rebuild, they love oil….
Hey, in my country food delivery guys buy a 50cc scooter with CVT and gets ridiculous mileage from it. It beats Ubering people around even if you have a Prius econobox.
you could strap a milk crate onto your rack and put the insulated bag in there so you don't have to backpack it. I did it with my mini bike when I was doing deliveries and it made life more than just a hair better
My parents bought their house in 98 for 115 and it's worth almost 500 now. And that's only because they didn't maintain it like they should've. The housing market is wild right now
Just looked up the exchange rate from 1970 to today and 75k is equal to about 650k in today's money. And if it was closer to 1975 it's around 450k so yea. Another of money but still doubled his investment
Those exchange rates aren't very accurate for most things though. A bridge that cost 75k in 1970 would cost millions to build today. Same thing for a house.
Lol they complain about putting the stuff together but least you put it in an insulated bag. Last time I ordered uber eats/door dash, the guy was doing deliveries just jogging with the paper bag in his hand.
They say that if you wait, the order will come back with a higher price for you to deliver. The customers fish to see if they can get it cheap. They are desperate, then they pay more.
4:42 Bro I make silly videos on my bike that are clearly just for fun and I get comments every day of people who get butthurt that im having fun. People are so mad at their own life they just need to bitch at other people to feel better about themselves. Its sad, honestly. Keep up the awesome content, and keep delivering them orders bruthur! Edit* I litteraly just got a death threat after typing this comment😂
the one thing id say watch out for is sauces and refried beans make sure they dont tip over in the bag... had a driver bring my stuff and there was beans everywhere it sucked no tip refund
I used to travel full time all over the country and would be at certain locations for months at a time. When I stayed in Cleveland, I would go out and do Uber eats on my off days. My “average wage” that I calculated for my profits vs expenses driving my ford escape was around 12-14 dollars an hour for 7-8 hours of deliveries. Gas was only 2.50 at that time. I’ve since stopped traveling, and have tried doing Uber eats again in my small city and my average wage for a day became like 6 dollars an hour. So I quit doing that.
Hey bro watched one of ur older videos. U mentioned how one time ur zx10 R. Just did not brake. I had same bike mine did same thing twice. One time I crashed real bad. Almost ripped my hand off. It’s not a fluke it will at some point do it again. I found issue late. Your seals are crap on ur master cylinder. It’s not ur fault there all messed up. Change it out kit is like 35 bucks. Ride safe
Used to do Doordash on my CBR 250 during the summer of 2018. I bought a hot bag from Doordash that I could wear as a backpack that was large enough for most orders and a tank bag for drinks. I also bought a crappy Bluetooth helmet to make calls and listen to music. It was seriously so much fun! And you could park pretty much anywhere downtown. The only problem is when you get an order you can't deliver, like a giant ass pizza! I had to bungee cord a 20+ in pizza to the back and it nearly bent in half.. luckily the guy was cool and even tipped me 😂
8:10 no i dont think so i think its saying you have to make at least 120% of minimum wage from the deliveries you take or they have to pay you enough to equal that. if you are already making more then that in an hour they dont pay you any extra
I love ur videos and interested in getting a motorcycle for Uber eats because im car gas is killing me is $50 a day in Miami, FL smmhhh❤❤ and now they are taking 70% from us😂
I signed up to deliver for Uber eats using my motorcycle recently. But I've been using my truck because the weather has been crappy. Once I switch to my motorcycle, will the orders I get change?
Haha iv done that order 711 i got some dranks you just show them ur id and they scan it on app to confirm ur 21 i was too lazy and was playing wz with the homie
Literally no such thing as an "Ambulance Driver" here in the south. Imo 100% a California thing lmao. Even there they're emts or paramedics. Show some love dawg. Ambulance driver, how demeaning lmao.
Within 2024 i seen some kid break his leg and helped him stay calm at skyzone anaheim and helped a 3 way collision off the 22 a car leaking gas and drivers asleep on the driver seat.
I had a trip where I got a $10 tip. Then the dude gave me $50 cash. One of the rare cash tips. I got. It was some rich house. I use a car 😒, I average 22ish an hour lately and I can do it whenever. I also don't bother with anything under $6 even if it's really low miles. But I drive in San Antonio, TX.
We door dash shit everyday because we lazy AF and have the financial means to do so lmao I work/Commute 10-12 hours a day starting at 5am lol but the people that do it here make hella money.
The pay law HURTS gig workers, because it raises the prices Uber must charge for the service, and fewer people use it. I live in a University town, with a buttload of bars downtown. I stopped driving Uber, because calls dropped WAY off, and drunk kids were using the Taxi company, because it's cheaper.
Yo you aren’t far off from Sierra lakes. You could probably chill in the parking lot by the 15 fwy and and beech ave. There’s a target a stater bros there. You’d be super close to those houses in the hills and I’m sure those cunts are ordering like crazy around there. That’s north Fontana people have more money over there lol or at least nicer houses
if you're not getting $100 a day doing this then its not worth the time (inmyopinion). also if the drz is eating oil you could have an issue...you rebuilt that engine too..
