I’ve seen some really goddam good guitarists on RU-vid. Too many to name. But I’ve never seen anyone able to play a Bass-line, Melody, Arpeggio, Chords and two distinct lines of percussion without using loops or a backing track. Besides talent, practice and technical competence, I think this requires an incredibly rare kind of musical brain and wonder if we might be witnessing something genuinely special here…

The song I chose for my mother's funeral. It was her favourite. It'll be 20 years ago next week but still bring out tears everytime I hear it and now was no exception 😢 But I love this soothing rendition, it was...wonderful. Thank you ❤🙏

There is something super human about Kent. Some connection between mind, hands and guitar. Back when I used to play and practice a lot, using chord inversions, throwing in bass fills and occasional percussive hits, I could never even come close to sounding so smooth, on time and with a groove. This young guy is smart to record and document everything. Later in his career, fans will love coming back to see the wonderful music of his youth. I’d love to learn more about him. His musical schooling, lessons, if he comes from a musical family, etc. Truly inspiring!
