@UrBoiEthan AND the saga goes in that order 'cuz Ocarina of Time came. Then Majora's Mask came next. Twilight Princess happens long after as a sequel. 'Least 100 years after the finales in both adventures.
I would love to see a Zelda anime film or show around the hero of time, it has the more lore to dive into, MajorLink is making an intersting new story around it. I would love to see something on the style of Ghibli, some fanart has already been made around it.
That’s what I’m thinking! A series following the hero of time that finishes in the child timeline. After the majora’s mask arc finishes, it would pick up at twilight princess.
It could be something like Jojo's Bizarre adventure, where every season follows a different incarnation of Link. Beginning with Skyward Sword and ending with BOTW 2 or something. And every timeline could be a different OVA or separate season. It would be really cool.
In my mind the Twilight princess manga would be perfect to adapt into an anime, It has additional story and background as well as giving Link a interesting character and development. I really hope it gets made! :)
I would really like A Majora's Mask anime because it has so much emotion and adventure. Same thing with Link's Awakening. I would also like Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time. I want all the games (in chronological order). I think it should be on Netflix with A Castlevania anime style or I should say anime in general. It would be so cool and i'd be hyped overwhelmed with happiness to see it. Zelda deserves an anime. I even imagine how Anime Zelda would turn out with epic, cinematic final battles with Ganondorf and Demise, it would be beyond epic
It should be an anime. Live action wouldn't make the series justice. Each season could be centered around a game of the series, 24 episodes for each season. The anime could expand the lore of the games, and SHOULD be canon, keeping as true to the games as humanely possible, and could even fill in the gaps. We could see the War between Hylia and Demise, the Interloper War, the war of the bound chest, the Hyrulean Civil War, the imprisoning war... All the conflicts that are mentioned and never shown, and that will probably never be shown in a videogame. Each season could release in the same order as the original games were released, meaning new game releases won't affect the order of the series, and viewers could then choose to watch those seasons in chronological order once they all come out.
AND w/ Link as the lead role in the whole story 'cuz he has Hylia's Hero from long before Skyward Sword. AND keep left-handed Link as the MC, but more story, more screen time. Hell, I'd recommend James Arnold Taylor AND Morita Masakazu as Link (the Link who was Hylia's Hero). AND Hylia as the female lead AND deuteragonist. The final fight's gotta be like this: Link w/ the Master Sword (w/ the hexagonal blade section AND the 2 golden gems on the winged guard, not sky blue gems) in his left hand AND Hylian Shield in his right hand (arm strap in the exact middle), Hylia w/ a divine one-handed sword in her right hand, and the Demon King (w/ his scary war helmet) usin' his big sword in his right hand (but no shield). AND the two leads workin' together so they got a better chance at winnin' against the big Demise. AND w/ Link stabbin' Demise in the exact center o' his chest w/ the Master Sword at the end to incapacitate the tall giant (w/ Demise losin'). Then Link's fatal injury in his torso's left side (after he saves humanity's future w/ the sword's sacred power AND lets the sword go up in to the in a divine pillar of light), heroic death w/ last words (a pretty long death scene), Demise's sealin', AND Hylia's compassionate Pieta w/ her hero's bloody left side turned to her chest so she supports his neck w/ her right hand (w/ the promise to always have Links AND Zeldas survive their final fights against the main baddies connected to the Demon Tribe curse, like dudes named Ganondorf, Bellum, Malladus, Vaati, AND more). Then one final scene w/ Link an' Zelda in Skyward Sword (but a li'l bit younger at 12) meetin' their loftwings. Link's hero titles could be Lion, Lionheart, Young Martyr, Green Knight, Boss, Leader, Cap'n, Big Bro, Hylia's Soulmate, Hylia's Chosen Hero, AND Hylia's Heroic Lion.
I think a Link to the Past timeline would be the best anime format source to adapt. And if not studio ghibli, then maybe the animation team from food wars. The attention to detail is incredible
as much fun as a anime based on one of the games sounds, I'd personally like to see something that takes place in one of the many different between game times featuring a new story that leads into one of the games. Much like MajorLink building a story between Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess, I think it might be fun to see something for the 10,000 year gap between Breath of the Wild and the end of the other timelines; possibly explaining how that whole thing works. Alternately, they could also do the in between time between Breath of the Wild 1 and 2. All in all however, I do think that any anime series should be it's own thing with it's own story. many thanks for the vid.
To be fair, TP is among the best-selling Zelda games. It's the second best-selling, and it's the one that never got a sequel, unlike Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild. So I think TP deserves the spotlight.
If they do make an anime they should have like each season a different link and have the timeline of the zelda games and that way the story can continue from each link.
Tbh, I think an anime about the botw memories would be best. Cause it's something we haven't seen before, it'd be a waste if we just got an show going over games we've already played through. And age of calamity didn't really show us what actually happened 100 years ago.
Hear me out like if they introduced it with a season based on skyward sword, then they could release a series of movies based on each game after since the main plot was already introduced in the series
My guess is that if the Super Mario Bros movie does well enough, they may end up working with Illumination again for another adaptation. I would guess that it would be more likely that they would make a sequel than to tackle a different IP, but I wouldn't doubt that Nintendo would AT LEAST consider them to produce a Legend of Zelda project of some sort should the Mario movie work out for them.

Maybe have Twilight Princess's Link be seen as Ocarina of Time's Link's successor AND his very young son, like Abraham an' Isaac.
Castlevania’s Adi Shankar May Produce a Legend of Zelda Series, There were Rumors that Adi Shankar may Produce a Legend of Zelda Series after he does Castlevania and I Hope he Does it. It Could Cover the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time for it's First Season and then I Hope it Explores the Other Timelines Like the Adult Timeline and the Downfall Timeline, I Love them Both But the Downfall Timeline would be My Favorite it's Creepy Full of Horrors Zombies and Mutated River Zora that Attack anyone and Everyone who approach The River.
I would create a brand new story in an animated series by the likes of Studio Mir (Korra, Voltron, DOTA) or Powerhouse Animation (Castlevania). Stylistically Mir’s character designs already favor the Zelda series as seen in Dota specifically. Ideally they’d loosely adapt parts of previous entries but avoid retreading old ground and power dynamics. Have Gannondorf be a sympathetic villain or adjacent to the main antagonist, or perhaps an anti hero himself.
honestly, im fine with a zelda adaptation as long as its not live action. Anime, western cartoon, 3d animated, a western cartoon that looks like anime (example- avatar the last airbender) heck even stop motion would look good IMO. Although, if a zelda anime does happen, i hope it would be made by studio ghibli (which probably wont happen), wit studios, mappa studios, or ufotable. But overall, i just want it to be a good series.
I honestly think that the trio of OoT, MM, and TP would make the best. they are technically connected with the same Link, so their is a continuation of the character over the season, as he grows. Plus they are pretty large in scale, as for their worlds and story. So, I think they would do pretty when competing with other fantasy shows. Also, those are the fan favorites, so a lot of people would tune in for sure.
skyward sword would make a great first show, it already has a pretty solid design, a very clear store and makes a great set up to all stories to follow, as demise curses the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero. and a good introduction to the world, a little tweaking and link would have and actual cast to follow him around and interact more. i think anime animation would be the safest choice. plus- my personal theory is that the skyward sword link, original link, probably got together with original zelda to create the first kingdom and the first royal family. the really seemed like lovers to me and being goddess chosen totally makes it make sense that people would follow them. there is also the whole zelda is the reincarnation of the goddess but also still like a 16 year old girl, it would be cool to follow her story as she awaken, or like possessed bythe goddess??/,(however that plays out) is kidnapped and brought from spring to spring. so following the prophecy, links hero quest, zeldas awakening story, and the kingdom they create after , there is so much drama and story to draw from and imagine.

I personally would prefer it as a anime series, covering the story of the hero of time, orarina of time, majora's mask, after majora's mask, and ending with twilight princess.
I feel like it they make an anime it should follow the ocarina time story line, starting with ocarina time, majoras mask than twilight princess (If you dont read the twilight princess manga, twilight princess is the sequel of ocarina of time)
I think it should be a series following the timeline, but a good series for Legend of Zelda in my opinion is, The Hero is Triumphant/The Twilight Realm and Legacy of the Hero timeline. Of course, the series starting from the game Skyward Sword just like how the timeline is said to start as it goes down, and branches off into the three timelines. I looked at the timeline chart when I made this btw
It should either be a new story, or a link to the past /triforce of the gods, there was even a short audio drama that precedes the game (its called sound and drama you can find it on youtube.)
The hero of the sky and skyward sword would work so well as it sets up the storyline and has demise and that fight would be amazing, if it were animated.
I always v'been thinking if zelda botw would be a anime animated like the announcement of palutena for smash because I v'seen a video called zelda breath of the mods that kinda did a God job representing botw as a funny anime with a bunch of memes
I like to a ocarina of time and Majoris mask just because I like to see how they would do when link is a kid to a Adult and transformation with the mask or sky, Twilight , wild , four sword . You know just do all of them and I like anime.
I prefer the anime to be done by Wit Studio and it is the most possible and best choice if it means working with Netflix on a Zelda anime. You can 100% trust Wit Studio’s productions with AoT, Kabaneri and Vivy. They also have worked on Pokemon Evolutions and it's fantastic. As for the game, I choose Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess since both games are very important to the Zelda series and has the best stories in my opinion. Also I want to see how good OoT Link would look in an anime. As for the voice actors, just keep the ones for the games. I expect it to be on the same level as Fate/Stay Night.
I don't think Amazon putting out Lord of the Rings would have much bearing on their Fantasy anime output tbh, I imagine the core audiences of live action and anime Fantasy have enough diversion to warrant both. Plus they're still continuing with Vinland Saga. Great video, the choice of background music especially stuck out to me in this one. I'd KILL for a Link's Awakening adaptation, and I actually think it is one of the only Zelda games that could be adapted pretty successfully to a film as opposed to a series. I think Majora's Mask could also make an amazing film.

I guess my main argument against amazon should’ve been more of how much wasted potential it would be to have Zelda and lotr at once when they could milk it at different times for more profit, probably should’ve articulated that better :/

As an avid LOTR fan and an avid water of anime, I would be thrilled to have two series from Amazon to watch a week, and it would probably be more likely to get me to subscribe to Prime! I get what you mean though, that it would be better to have one series to focus on marketing and pushing out at a time

If they were going to do a Zelda anime, I don't want them to adopt one of the games. I want an original story that would be canon, but it does not have to be. If they dont do an original story, then do a game an a season then at the end do an epic crossover with all the Links. I would rather have the show be on Disney Plus than on Netflix.
I want a twilight princess anime, that'd be so cool! I used to have all the mangas when I was little, so it'd be really cool to have a show adapted from them. I really don't want a live action series.
Ocarina of Time, Windwaker or Twilight Princess fit the bill the best for an anime. Skyward Sword is too early in the timeline and Breath of the Wild is too late in the timeline
If they going to adapt the first zelda ir basically skyward sword to twilight princess studio ghibli is really good for the old style animation and once they reach the present timeline or botw they need to change to kyoto animation for better environment animation
