You know, mentally, it's really tough trying to push your body to its physical limits when you're not sure if it can handle it. That's the real challenge. And for athletes, one thing they dread the most is getting injured. It's always lurking as a threat as long as they're in sports. Nobody wants that. We can all understand the struggle of dealing with an injury.
#Abbysteiner faced that challenge head-on. After finishing fourth in the 200-meter race at the USA #trackandfield Championships, she revealed she'd be ending her season early for surgery. But what many didn't know was that she'd been battling through that injury for months. Despite the pain, she showed up to meets, practices, and workouts with grit and love for the sport.
