Hi vini...This is my 5th attempt.....4 times completely failed in csat and also gs....But this time made it to mains comfortably both in gs and csat......Consistency is the key....Those who stay in the game ,win...So never even think of quitting and just start with mains....Hoping to see you as a Topper in 2025 cse...Hearty wishes to those who get into the field and fight the battle....

During UPSC preparation, we are constantly doing two things: A). The thing that we are supposed to do - reading, testing, revising, etc. B). Learning about the thing that we are supposed to do. It's easy to waste a lot of time by focusing on B and thinking that you are doing real work while you're actually just procrastinating about doing the real work (A). For example: I'm reading about how to write an essay rather than actually trying to write one. Don't get me wrong, sometimes we need to do B in order to make real progress in A. But 80% of the time when we're doing B, we are wasting time. The question is, which activity - A or B - occupies the majority of your day?

Have an great plan B ,There are 1000's of opportunities outside this world ,we can become an millionaire within mid 30's enjoy an world trip ,meet different ppl ,UPSC preparation is just a part of life ,,There are more in life we can achieve tham this exam❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

After 2 Failures in UPSC , I stopped preparing😐. Left a well paid private job for TNPSC , Got married and failed again in the mains. Now in a depressed state and dilemma whether to study or work. What do you think will help ?

I am going to take break in my upsc journey. I'll find a plan B, it will give some confidence. After that I'll keep on trying and improving myself to crack this exam. Am not quitting,its just kind of short break like ( I N T E R V A L ) Second half will be more suprises and twists.
