That's how I catch my bait fish. Take a pot similar to that and cut it in half along the side and replace the chicken wire with fine mesh. Drop it down and pull up some baitfish 10 minutes later.
Rob Simpson And regular fish think flying fish go into outer space.Maybe religiously inclined fish think fish that are caught are hauled body and soul into heaven, like the human Biblical prophets of old. I gotta say, Rob, I never thought about fish from the crab's point of view before. You've got me thinking weirdly of all kinds of normal things now, thank you.
Im not sure, I don't even have a gopro, if you search up how to stream gopro to mac or pc, you can probably find out how, I think you need to have wifi, so you would probably need to use a hotspot on your phone or something, might be alot of work.
When I was like 10 years old I ran a crab line for about a year. One morning I went to pull up a trap and it felt like it was glued to the bottom. I pulled as hard as I could at the time and felt the trap barely start to raise off the bottom. After a bit of struggling the trap got close to the surface and I saw that a young manatee had decided to go to sleep literally laying on top of my trap. He didn't move until his back broke the surface, but I will never forget just how heavy that little guy was, and that was IN the water!
That video was no less than spectacular! Totally mesmerizing! I love going crabbing and eating Blueclaws here on Long Island every year but I have to go slightly off topic: I caught a stingray off Fire Island one day like 30 years ago, in the surf. It must have weighed over a hundred pounds. My brother and I shared the pole for about an hour and a half until we had just about landed it. (If the part when we landed it were to have been videotaped it would be so great.) I had to walk out about 6 feet in the surf to gaff it because I could not get it any closer to the beach. When that fish felt the steel of the gaff it went berserk and scared the crap out of me. It was wildly thrashing side to side making tremendous splashes in the water. We had our girlfriends with us and when the stingray went wild the girls began hysterically screaming, afraid for me. Well, the fish was so wild that I had to let the gaff go and the beast began to swim away when I realized the gaff (which was a small hand gaff) was still connected to my surf belt. And away we go...next thing I know I'm being dragged through the breakers. I'm tumbling in and out from underwater trying to breathe and at the same time, I was trying to avoid getting stung by the tail. The girls were of course now totally beside themselves; if not for the quick thinking of my brother I would not be here to tell this story. He went to grab the pole, hoping it was still hooked to the stingray and just before he grabbed it, it (the pole) went down off the sand spike and started heading into the surf as well. Yes, it was still attached to the fish! He was chasing the pole through the surf and managed to just grab it by the butt end as it was going under (he was not dressed for surf fishing). At this point, I was sure my life was over. I could not open my surfbelt to release the gaff because the piece that you pull out to open the belt with somehow snapped off while I was being dragged. All I could think of was get to the surface, I think I was about eight feet under. Suddenly, everything stopped and I was able to ascend to the surface a split second before I was just about to inhale a mouthful of water, but because I knew I was going up I managed to hold my breath a bit longer, feeling the need to inhale desperately I kicked my feet and used my arms to rise and broke the surface and breathed. But I was still tethered to the ray and I felt the fish still pulling on my waist. When my brother finally managed to get the pole under control he was able to stop the fish in its tracks. That’s what saved my life. That’s when everything “suddenly stopped”. My head was spinning. I was finally able to breathe and I felt like I weighed a ton considering I had on my surf fishing gear, chest waders, and foul weather top. The surf belt helped to prevent water from filling up my waders and aided in my floatation. My brother Chris, was reeling me and the stingray into the beach. He was so scared that the line was going to snap, but he managed to keep the drag pressure in check knowing he had to, or he might lose me. Then I felt the bottom and I was standing in about 3 or 4 feet of water with the waves breaking all around and on me. I saw the stingray. The gaff was stuck through his big lip. I grabbed the handle and hauled the gaff over my shoulder and just marched out of the water, dragging the ray behind me. I was exhausted but my adrenalin kicked in and I just kept going until the fish was on the sandy beach. The girls were still screaming and I realized I had heard that screaming all along, I just did not have the time to think about it. Me and Chris gave each other a huge hug. My old girlfriend (who shall remain nameless) was crying and joined in on the hug followed by Chris’s old girlfriend (who also shall remain nameless). The stingray was making a really loud breathing/coughing sound and was inflating with air almost like a blowfish. I went to my beach buggy and grabbed a camera, took a picture of the ray, pulled the gaff out and the hook and shoved him back into the water where he did swim away. But boy, do I love eating blue claws!

Search on google what is CCTV if you don't know what is CCTV is. For simple cctv is some sort of camera that connected to a monitor in order to saw what happened.

That’s a male crab on top of a soft shell female, when a female sheds “becoming soft” a male crab will actually sit on top of her to protect her. Lol a true love story
Amazing video i loved when the manta ray and the sting ray came through and when the crab was ready to fight and he started to beat the shit out of the camera
thats was super rad. i did this in newport oregon and saw sealions and lingcod trying to get my bait. its really neat seeing what different creatures there is in different parts of the world. very cool
I started cracking up when the crabs bulled they way in at the beginning and when they pulled the little crab up and he started fighting for his life lol I know it's fucked up but that was funny hope they threw him back.
It's so Interesting to see how The Laws Of Nature TRULY FUNCTION... On Land? And In The Ocean... Land Species left the Oceans MILLIONS OF YEARS AGO... However, The The Laws In The Ocean and on Land? Are EXACTLY THE SAME... Wow... Great Video...
*That was actually pretty interesting. i could never get that clear of a shot where i used to go crabbing off the pier in Gulfport because almost the whole gulf is just muddy nasty water. it's only on the south east coast that the water is clear enough that this would work for someone i believe*
