I would suggest after bachelor degree in food science, go for a job but not for masters and after some experience do mba and become a Manager, so that u will get good high packages. Dame sure i feel this is a good advice.
Hey Areeb. Greetings from your senior. Keep up the good work. You started with mentioning that there are a lot of opportunities apart from quality, r and d and production, but just ended up mentioning business development & marketing. You forgot to mention domains like sensory evaluation, plant and machinery designing, food plant auditing, patent analysis, packaging, consultancy services etc. Food tech is really broader than the fields mentioned in this video.
Hello. Glad to have you here on my channel. Thanks for your appreciation and feedback. Yes indeed we forgot to mention other domains that you've mentioned. This would have made the video much longer. We'll cover different domains in other videos for sure. Thanks for reminding us! 🙂👍
@@alokyadav78 Hey buddy. Food technology and Home science are like sky and land. Food technology is focused on preservation, processing, composition, chemistry and all other aspects of foods. Home science on the other hand focuses on domains like textiles etc. There's only a small portion of nutrition covered under home science. I hope this helps. Please feel free to contact me for any other queries!
Awesome video sir...A very helpful one.. fr many...N there r no such food tech channels in this platform.. so u r doing d best I can say that being a person who always tries to grab more knowledge abt the course we r doing

I don't know how she said but, wherever I've seen , companies prefer mtech than btech. And btech graduates get in the first two years- 10-25k which goes upto 50-60k till next 5 years, whereas mtech passouts get - 35-50k which goes upto, 80-90k or even more.
im getting depressed day by day i cant decide what to opt im very much interested in research but then u dony have placements in bsc and msc in food technology where as u have it in btech food technology why is it i dont get it?

Should one take PCB or PCM or PCBM in 11 & 12 grade to take admission for Btech Food Tech. Also which college offers Btech Food Tech in Mumbai, Pune or anywhere in South India which also supports with a good hostel facility for girls.
For B.tech you can take PCM or PCMB. ICT Mumbai offers B.Tech, MIT Pune offers B.Tech, CFT Parbhani offers B.Tech. IIFPT (South) offers B.Tech. But I don't know about their hostel facility.

I am confused that what should I do after BSc food technology,, should I go with MSc or start doing job and with that should go with MBA in food marketing.??? Can u please help out
I am doing B.Tech biotechnology am I eligible M.Tech food Technology.I heard that I am not eligible for NIFTEM and CFTRI.Am I eligible for IIFPT or which college accepts
You'll be eligible for mtech if you qualify GATE. NIFTEM accepts GATE score in engineering science and life science. CFTRI has a separate entrance exam, for which you are eligible. For IIFPT, they conduct a separate exam.
@@AreebIrshadSimplifies so I am eligible for CFTRI and IIFPT with B.Tech biotechnology and should write respective entrance exams. For NIFTEM no entrance exam but GATE required .am I right bro?
Really thanks for your effort sir.can u pls tell me a graduate from irrelevant branch can do mtech or me in food technology .as I am from extc trade by default and want to change it as I think its in my self alignment. But the major problem is graduation in irrelevant stream that just not meet the eligibility criteria of any IIT college.so is it worth to give gate in this food technology stream as it will get problematic in admission ahead lacking eligibility.pls help me to take further decision .request .
@@alhayaathadia1875 I think there will be an issue with eligibility since your domain is not connected with food science or food technology. Even if your domain was somehow connected to life sciences, it would have been possible..

Hey! I'm pursuing B. Tech Food Tech from SHUATS Allahabad, and I'm very concerned about whether a degree from this college will be worth it or not? Please guide me.
Hi Sir/Madam, My sister is pursuing her Final Year B.Tech Food Technology . Her aim is to be an entrepreneur, so she is aiming to do an MBA degree but she is confused on courses available and which is best to chose. Can you please help us with your suggestions.
She can go with any MBA stream. It's not about the course, it's more about what the student does with the course and how the student utilizes the opportunity. I'd recommend her to explore all the domains under MBA such as marketing, HR, operations, finance, Agri Business etc. and then choose the one in which she is most interested. Also, I'd recommend to target IIMs since that would also allow her to build a strong profile and have a rich experience. Hope that helps.
hey i want going in cooking field but i have completed b.tech(I.T) in 2017 i have study in final year b.tch with open elective subject : Nutritional & spect of natural of process foods so please suggest to me how can i grow to the career in food field
Hi. First of all, food technology is not about cooking. If you're interested in cooking then it is advisable to join a course like hotel management/home science. Food technology is about the application of sciences to process a food product.
I'm graduate in bsc hons. food technology 4yr and doing Master's in food technology 3rd sem i want to know how can we apply for PhD/Ms from abroad and wht is the procedure & minimum eligibility criteria

Hii sir I have completed my bachelors from computer science but I was interested in neutrician is there a possibility to change my profession in masters ???
Hlo sir i am a food technology btech final year student and right now u already know all the industry not accepting our application for internship for reason of covid 19 and sir i really want to know about in which food industry sector like bakery beverage snacks provide us maximum starting package
I can understand that the companies are not providing internships, but you can brush up your knowledge, master communication skills. For maximum package, I think every industry provides a package which looks similar in the beginning. As a fresher, focus on the experience and not the package.
