Great video, thanks for the walk around of your set-up. On mine, I have 1200cc injectors, and lately I have noticed that the boost levels go beyond the safe setting in the Cobb, which is at 18 psi. Boost goes up as much as 22, but then, it cuts out the acceleration and can't go any faster once the boost hits the max. After the boost goes down I can accelerate and reach higher speeds but without a lot of boost kicking in. If that makes sense, so I'm trying to figure out why, I'll take any ideas on why this may be happening. Thank you in advance.
@@Majj.Garage no codes at all, and yes I'm running stock turbos. Just trying to think what would cause it to boost that quickly and not be able to reach higher speeds.
Great content, you just earned a new subscriber! I wanted to check on the coolant temp issue, mine rises to 95’C on idle before the radiator fan engages, but when the AC is turned on it never surpasses 78’C. Is that an issue with all GTRs or should I reprogram something ? Thanks
Um so recently i was compliance the years on what has been updated honeslty all the years are good but cheapish for a decent lil project a mid mile 09 0r 10 probably have ton sink around 20k to get it mint which for the car compared to other is preety mint that's just an upgraded trans q must in my op after researching now 700 package is your best bet that will be around 10 or 20 k but other then that 2012 and 13 were the first major improvements over 09 10 11which were around 480 and 500 hp and then got boosted to 530 qnd 535 and then in 2017 560 however in 2013 or 14 I think would be your best bet maby even if the price isn't to huge as much as you can afford depending in tue doffrence used of course and if there 2016 or 2015 for around the same only a couple grand more I'd sink it for one of the new ones basicly every year or so they add a little goody or make it better so in the long run the newer one will be better with mods and maby more reliable
2017 but it's pike every 2 years they chqng somthing to fine tune it 2009 qnd 10 had about 480 number were q lie tho from factory more likely around 500 2012 got a update tho qnd boosted to 530 2013 is 535 and 2017 was around 560 for exhaust as wide and straight as you can get rec greddy race pipes 3.5 inchs exhaust and then they got some nice big hard pipe which I see almsot everyone run my theory is since it's wider and more direct instead of all that fancy bullshit it allows for it just consume and suck as much air jn as possible iv always wondered how come no one has made a custom one like cleetus tho just a giant twin fucking air vent duct lmfao not really somthign like that but the ridgitt and design allows for a better torque curve and everyone always forgot you might be added alittle horsepower but witha gtr is you plug it and fbo it does make alot more like cap out your Injectors more and you can run an eco tune that's still miles more responsive way better curve just the whole shabang standard also at this point even with thew newer trans I'd upgrade mine with an aftermarket place or soem shut or get someone who knows therre way around and do it becuz like you don't need 1000 hp one but the 700 options uslay make it alot smoother and help fix some of its normal quirks or improves them becuz upgraded and updated peices and technolgy over the years and well yea altho I'd say get 3 tunes after the trans upgrade before hand keep it around 660 should be good or 630 anything near 700 within a few runs say good buy but other then that these thing for a sports /hypercar has always beena sport but after mods and 3veryone hyping it over years it earned supercar but just right off the lot it ain't heard it drives like a video game and is very direct iv seen people fling it around corners like one in edmonton a few years before near 118th it was awesome
Dynojet numbers are more like crank hp numbers. Then inflating it with a 105hp loss through drivetrain calculation . That's how you get claimed 750-800 hp gtr's that only run about .7 seconds quicker than stock.
