Maybe it was for the strategy of using a closed room for the oxygen, and how he found his resolve at the last moment to fight back, that and that the only one that could change Fate at that point was Pucci himself.

They're the same in nearly every aspect aside from their lives being significantly better, and they're also completely different on the surface due to their new identities. They're completely different people from the outside looking in, but the very cores of who they were, the good people that they were, managed to live on. They didn't just get heavily altered into someone COMPLETELY unrecognizable. Only enough to realize these are who these people would be if everything that happened never did.

@@johnwise9811 Thank you, I'm fine with people having their own interpretations of the ending but people really misrepresent the ending and state it as if its fact. Like there are plenty of sources online indicating that Jolyne and crews souls remained the same but the memories altered.

@@HatingOnEverything Unfortunately, some of the episodes for Stardust Crusaders tend to drag and were lackluster compared to the later Jojo's. It does get better toward the end, so, you have to tolerate parts of it.

I’m not knocking you or anything just trying to get understanding. But how exactly? It’s all the exact same as the manga. Hell you can even read a whole ass diagram in the manga. I know the ending was confusing for some but how exactly is it getting animated make it easier to understand when all the same things happen?

@Manuel Cabrera Personally I don't like to read manga as much anymore. It gives me headaches and makes it hard to focus when I do. So seeing animated was just easier for me to focus without getting headaches and stuff.

@@manuelcabrera9556 (Caution: rant incoming!) Because manga books are a different art medium than animation, meaning they convey things differently. The relevant distinction isn't that it hits all the same plot beats, but rather how it uses the conventions of its medium to communicate ideas and concepts. For instance, consider part 3's final fight vs. DIO. Part of what made that fight so memeable and thereby memorable is the fact that the passage of time is very wonky during stopped time. (Dialogue like: 'One second has passed. Two seconds have passed.') The reason is that, although the exact same thing happens in the manga, the medium of animation isn't very well-suited to this kind of scene, because animated characters experience the flow of time more or less the same way we do. Manga characters don't, because of two reasons: 1. It's impossible to know exactly how much time passes between two given panels 2. You can read the dialogue at your own pace Because of this, the scene where DIO narrates how many seconds have passed isn't really all that weird in the manga, hence why that medium lends itself to the scene better than the medium of animation does. Another instance where the opposite applies is King Crimson and his ability of leaping past time, erasing everyone but Diavolo's memory of the skipped moment. Since the amount of time between two manga panels is unknowable, it's very difficult to convey the effects of KC (when seen from the Giobros' pov) through the medium of manga. Jumping from panel to panel already feels like a time skip every time for the reader, and so when part 5 came out, everyone had a hard time telling the difference between the 'normal' time skips that come with the medium, and the ones that are caused by KC, that the characters are reacting to. There was such a confusion around how King Crimson works that it became a Jojoke. The anime, of course, makes it much easier to understand, because there are no time skips that don't involve a scene transition baked into the medium. That's why the animated scenes have the intended effect of 'holy shit time just skipped' instead of causing confusion. That's the difference between art mediums. Some are good at some things, others are good at other things.

@@m.s.5370 oh I understand all of this and I thought about whilst I made this comment. I was even going to comment about it but thought I’d be too long so I left it out. I was even gonna give the example of independence hall in part 7 and how that animated would be a much better fight because well you can actually perceive the time between leaps and incidents even though that’s also a translation issue. I perfectly understand how movement, time, sound effects convey things better. The two mediums have their strengths and weaknesses. I’m very specifically talking about the confusion of the singularity point and the new universe in Pucci’s image and the reset because well I frankly think it’s easier to understand in the manga. And the main point of confusion with the ending in the community is the perception of the ability which I think has nothing to do with movement or visual effects. I don’t really see how animating it makes it any easier because none of the pros of anime make it any clearer or provide future context. A lot of it is panel for panel. Sorry I wasn’t very specific in my questioning. It’s about this scene not the mediums as a whole.

It's sad that they didn't recognice it and they even ignore the ending because they didn't recognized also roundabout 😐. It was probably best opening ever and they couldn't enjoy it because they forgot everything about first parts.

Irene has the Joestar mark. So she is a Joestar. There is absolutely no reason to think that only people whose first names start with "Jo" are affected by the curse.

It isn't a goodbye either for us the viewers. They are the original ones, is just that Part 6 never happened. Because Emporio only met them in Part 6, for him it is bittersweet, as they would be "different" people.

@@aaronlainez6191 Irene isn´t a JoJo anymore. IrJo, lol. Her destination to battle Dio doesn´t exist anymore so she is the most changed person with Weather and Anasui thereafter. Hermes also never loosed her innocence and the anime´s credits give her a new name but it´s fair to say that she lived the same life till adulthood.

Kinda sad to think about, cause Part 4 was my favorite part, and to think that Part 4 and 5 played out drastically differently is saddening. At least Part 7 is around the corner and I've heard it's almost everyone's favorite.

Ehhh, I disagree. Imo I like to remember FFs original speech and relate it to that they are not the same people, because the soul is not the same. These are new people that will closely resemble the original but it is simply not the same at the end of the day. Otherwise I see no reason why they would show up on the sky at the end

I think this universe is better honestly

The new universe is better in terms of story, but in my opinion, it can't compete with the emotional attachment we have toward the OG Joestar bloodline. The OG Joestars were an actual family whose parts were closely interconnected with each other and sometimes crossed over, while parts 7 and 8 have almost nothing to do with each other and the Jojos never even met. Maybe part 9 will make two of them meet, but it still won't hold to the OG in that aspect for me.

And one sad thing F.F. is now just a plankton

He ruined everything. He basically got rid of the og universe so that he can start sbr as fast as possible. He rushed everything in stone ocean and changed the ending so that he can end the verse. It is the worst possible ending, so unnecessary and forced. The whole part had catastrophic forced writing, but the ending is on another level. Pucci's plot armor through the show was disgusting. And the writing for Jotaro was one of the worst forced writings I have even seen for an character. The only good new things about stone ocean are few characters like Jolyne and Weather, although they are also kinda ruined because of Pucci's disgusting plot armor..
