My first Louis Vuitton bag was in 2020 and it was a classic speedy 35 in damier ebene and I did love that bag it’s not in my collection anymore but I enjoyed the bag when I had it ❤❤❤
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the LYXBAGS book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
My first LV bag and also my first luxury purchase ever was the Pochette Metis in black Empreinte leather and I still love it and would highly recommend it as a first luxury bag. I have bought several bags since then, also other Pochette Metis styles, but the black Empreinte still has a special place in my heart 🖤🖤🖤
Love your video. I am an avid LV fan. I have them all in various forms. Neverfull is everyday & everywhere bag. Pochette Metis is travelling bag. Speedy is my travelling & work bag. Neonoe is my weekend bag for shopping & short trips. All just simply wonderful.
My first LV bag was pochette Metis and it is one of my favourites. You are absolutely right-it can be used for most occasions and is a great travel bag. Neonoe is my most comfortable work or daily bag. Although it seems bulky, it just moulds to your body and sits so well on the shoulder- only con is that it is not a great crossbody bag. The crossbody length of the strap is too long unless you are really tall and it sits awkwardly. Really like your recommendations- good classic and timeless choices. ❤
my shoulders hurt from the weight of the bag and not from her handle 😅 i use size gm for travel or just because I love the look of a big soft empty bag! i think it has style .
I got 3 of the bag u mentioned. but I am not a fans of monogram, I only into epi and damier ebene leather. my neverfull (no pouch attached back than) in GM for over 16 yrs old in damier and still in excellent condition
my first LV was Totally PM in 2012 ( I sold it few years later after bying Delifghul but now I regret selling it) Later I bought Speedy B 25 DE, Speedy 30 mono, Eva, Alma Bb, mm. I regret not bying Noe petite when it had a nice price. However I never like Neverfull
I wouldn't go for the Noe if I were a bit overweight, and especially short and overweight because it sticks out with that very broad base; it is just bulky and you must consider your body shape when choosing a bag. Otherwise I agree it's both youthful and also for any age. Speedy shape is definitely like a doctor's bag, but it's generically known as a Boston bag shape, and other brands make versions of the Boston bag. I have a paisley one from Etro and love it rather than the monogram LV. The Boston/speedy is a very practical shape, but it can lose shape easily with time, so I agree it's essential to use an organiser to help keep its shape. I would wear a Speedy 30 for a taller woman. The 25 is not as practical if you want to use it for all day IMO. Pochette Matis is flattering for any size or shape. It 's. not bulky and is therefore elegant. I agree the Neverful is practical but I don't have one and have other bags as I prefer to be able to zip them up, particularly for travel. If you're not tall GM will overwhelm you. I know a Philipino woman who has one, she is tiny and the bag is wearing her it just overwhelms her. Canvas is perfect for travel and bags because it's light and durable. It's a workhorse basically. PS at 5 mins 45 you meant "'pull it off".
Thank you for a very thoughtful review and recommendation of a first LV bag. I agree with your suggestions because my 1st bag was not an iconic style and I regret that purchase.
I saved up money for a few months to buy a ZP, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from LYXBAG for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.
My first LV bag was a 1987 speedy passed down from my mother. The first LV I purchased with my own money was a 2002 Cabas piano tote. Lol. Great suggestions for first LV bags.
I bought the classic Noe in 2022. I love it!!!! The Noe's I see in Southern California are not dirty and disgusting. We take care of our bags. The Neo Noe is not so popular in Los Angeles. I also have the Speedy 30 B. It doesn't look like a granny bag. Speedy 20 is okay, but doesn't give the same Speedy vibes like the 25 and 30. The Neverfull is practical, but I'm more of a Onthego tote lover. Although I don't travel with them, they get used often. T
Agree. Same. After the last crazy quality drop and price hike I promised myself a cool fake for Christmas, I've already scouted it out at HIDUPZ and will put the rest into an investment account.
My first LV bag is Ribera in MM size, Damier print. The bag is still with me. I bought it in year 2003. Kind of regret purchase as now i prefer shoulder or sling carry handbag.
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in LYXBAGS other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals

My first LV was Riviera PM in Damier Azur bought in Japan in 2014. I didn’t know much about LV bags back then and SA didn’t suggest any model to me. So I picked what was displayed on shelf. It was a good bag with zip closure. I pampered it too much, didn’t want it get dirty so didn’t use a lot. If I had known more models I would probably pick speedy in DE as my first bag.
My first LV bag was the Favorite PM in monogram back in 2014 & it's still my favorite bag to this day! I was considering the Eva at the time too but I really just do not like zippered entry bags- the zipper always scratches up my hands. Everyone typically gets a speedy or neverfull but it just wasn't practical for me. To this day I've still never even considered a speedy but I DID finally get a neverfull to use as a work tote this year.
Lol my Chinese university friend visited China and bought 5 chanel bags. They are authentic 100% just because everyone has them back in China in her circle. First time I met her she wore jeans and T shirt just like me and other peasant students. I always know she is rich but the hype of using designer stuffs is real in Asia. It’s showing your class and weather you fit in or not. Gen Z is definitely try to make it big and be successful way to fast. A young man was interviewed in my country because of his terrible financial debts due to buying too much luxury. He has authentic and fake stuff. He signed up for several credit cards and used them all on luxury just because they gave him a sense of being successful. Even when he could not buy authentic stuff he tried to get the best replica of the product. And it’s still around 11% the price of the original. He could have easily spend $30k in total for those 😅 Seeing those mirrors I try to be as financially responsible as possible. And to me it’s pointless having to prove myself to strangers anyway.
My first was speedy and the Noe GM. I mostly like the classic LV’s with the exception of the neverfull. I detest that bag but it does serve a purpose and I understand why many swear by her....pa pour moi!
H! Really like your video and advice! May I ask your opinion about carry PM monogram, you had a video about it a year ago, do u think it’s still worth it to buy ? It seems to be popular in Asia😊, thank you!
My first LV bag 7 years ago was the utility bag from Virgil’s 1st or 2nd collection. It has the iconic acrylic chains and the orange accent. It can be a belt bag or a crossbody because of the 2 strap options. Not using it much though because the chain got destroyed and it took forever for me to get it back from Sg for repairs. If I do use it I don’t stuff it anymore. Seems like your colleagues are friendly. This year I’m so over LV because for 7 years I don’t really have much luck with any of my CAs. They either go on AWOL or are really not responsive with my inquiries. I wanted to see the Nebula collection and sneaked in an LV branch here in Manila that I don’t usually go to. Even if the CA was very kind because he was just new, he was half Armenian and half Pinoy, I had to turn down the Speedy because of your recommendation that the silver was just sprayed on. Thanks for the advise. I might buy LV abroad instead of in Manila. The experience I had after 7 years is so horrid that I don’t want to support LV Ph anymore. Its not worth the price that is highest of all countries! 🐊🐊🐊
My first & second LV bag was my Pochette metis and BB Alma, both in black empreinte. I use the strap from my PM on the BB Alma which looks nicer than the original thicker strap it has.
This is my favorite episode of all the videos that u made on your channel. I love that u asked opinions of your colleagues; I love 2 guys both said:capucines; if I was asked the same question,I would say mini capucines too. ❤❤❤
for someone who is new in buying in LV, speedy and speedy bando is 2 different bags.. it can get confusing.. needs to clarify the difference 😊😊😊 good video still. ❤
@@MerfyGwould the bandoulière lose structure over time? I prefer a slouchy speedy look, but also want crossbody. So far, the bandoulière looks too structured to me
