David David David, my mouth is watering. Ducana is my favorite too. I remember growing up and Daniel's bakery aka south street bakery was our Sunday morning bread shop. So many good memories. My brother who is still in Antigua still goes and get his bread there to eat with his salt fish, chop up, avocado, plantain and cucumber salad on Sundays. Thank you for helping me to remember my wonderful childhood memories. That bun and cheese too. Oh my goodness. 🤤❤️

Love your videos , my family is Antiguan so this was great to see . Only wish when you visit these other Caribbean island you didn’t compare everything to Jamaica 😂. If anything most food on the islands come from Africa and have been implemented in the West Indian diets.

You should go to Montserrat, next door to Antigua. Goat water is the national dish and only there you will get authentic goat water and other good food. It's 20mins by air from antigua!

My mum is from Hopetown village in Berbice. We can walk from my grandmothers house straight to the Atlantic Ocean.

Thank God for life. This could’ve been way worse. Thank God it’s not. There was 161 Hurricane Ian fatalities after Ian hit 09/28/2022. Right here in SW Fl. months later some people still did not have electricity because of the extension damage to the grid and property. Many homes was also destroyed. Thank God for life.

I am someone is telling Antigua stories

I am watching this video as i send this message. I am currently at the section in which you are at the lady's house making dukuna. I am enjoying the video but i want to add that culturally it is a sin to make dukana or however it is spelled using aluminum foil. It must be done in banana leave or Antigua and Barbuda grape leaves. Aluminum foil is a sin according to the locals who can cook local food in Antigua. It includes my mother. I am continue to watch and inform you of anything else that objectively should be corrected.
