NOTE: I put this video up for my Patreon supporters 2 days early (ad-free until I made it public). Also - I made an over 6-minute video just with drone footage I took that day for Patreon supporters as well! If you like these videos and want to support the channel, I really appreciate it and am doing what I can to thank you!

I have never seen so much snow before! I would have to wear so much sunscreen and a hat with all of that bright sun and snow or I would surely burn. I hope Japan allows us in soon so I can experience this myself.

What an amazing view. The sky has the most stunning hue, against the whit of the snow. The snow covered trees really look like beings, human like, eerie and awesome rolled into one. I do believe the Fox earned their rice cakes, such a good imitation is a worthy effort! Thank you for sharing, I can see that you are an excellent guide, and truly adore the places you visit. I couldn't sleep last night and the cats have kept me up all day...even my usual favorite relaxing videos have done nothing to help me feel better today. This video should have been called "The Kingdom of Heaven". I loved every bit of it. Your videos are ALWAYS very therapeutic and healing to me which justifies why I smile from the first second to the last watching them. I wanted to touch every snow covered tree (snow monster) you passed by and really gaze to imagine what it could represent. Thank you so much for the video and the lovely folk tale. And, as always, I have questions: 1- Did the piece for your snow shoes arrive yet? 2- Have you ever gotten lost on any of these beautiful snowy white trails? Because, it's just too beautiful that I myself could get lost somehow concentrating too much on the view.
@GoNorthJapan
@GoNorthJapan 3 года назад
yes- I got the snowshoe repair kit with the piece that was broken! I haven't gotten lost yet while snowshoeing. I'm more careful than usual during the winter. I was only lost once, and that was in the spring when there was snow, but I was just tramping in boots. (The first and only 2-part video I made, Lost in Ura Iwate)

I love the fox stories the best I think, mainly because their one of my favourite animals, Fox's, Owl's and Cat's. The views are stunning, what an amazing place to be able to visit. I have to admit the snow covered trees do look suspicious, so I'd watch out for Foxs and the like, you never know what tricks they may be up to. Still it does looks beautiful :) safe travels.

Holy crap that looks crazy beautiful. I did a winter/snow hike a few years ago and it really wasn't my thing, found it more exhausting and tiring than a summer hike. Might need to try it again with snow shoes. Hopefully with that my knees wont be on fire.
