Nah, I don't wanna be a buzzkill, but this video showed that Glastonbury is becoming Coachellaised; I mean seriously, there was so much tryhard fashion in this video. Only Generation Z and late gen Millenials are to blame. You wanna say this stuff is special and real but it's really not, a lot of people here were trying to look "out there" - thankfully Glastonbury is not full of people like this like Coachella is, so in that regard you have a point. When I went this year, Glastonbury was full of Boardmasters/V-Festival losers who don't care about music and just wanna mess about and get high; a lot of people who went to Glastonbury this year don't deserve to be there - I miss the old Glastonbury, I'll be honest, but hey, at least the music is better than ever!
Glastonbury and Coachella are not comparable events. One's the best party on earth, fuelled by progressive politics and free from adverts and corporate sponsorship. The other's a bleak soulless influencer convention where you can't even buy a beer without having to get past a security guard in a cheap tuxedo
its the shop owner having a miserable vibe and saying no one wants to buy fur then a women in fur showing up in the video 😹 gotta tell him if you look miserable no one will shop your shop bro
I hope Glastonbury doesn't end up having tryhard fashion like Coachella does, but I'm admittedly worried that the wrong crowds are starting to appear at the festival who should be at Boardmasters and V-Festival rather than Glasto. Thankfully, this video proved to me that although a lot of tryhards are present, Glastonbury will always, in majority, be full of the realest and coolest people on earth.
The stuck-up posh crowds have been there for ages. But it's a variety festival, it's for all different types of people. As IP said, a festival like that is so massive that you're not likely to see the same person twice, others arn't gonna affect your experience really
@@b1nary_f1nary precisely. it’s the most diverse in every aspect “place” i’ve ever been too. you can find posh middle class families in some parts, rastafarians in the other. it’s fantastic
Glasto's always been about the music. Unfortunately coachella came from the coolest indie music acts in the US and it went through the typical cycle of indie hipster >> LA hipster >> celebrity IG hangout type crowds.
Lost track of Kofi's adventures months ago but this is a good one!! People look exactly like I expect them to look at a music festival like Glastonbury. Colourful, creative, fun!! Great job, Kofi!! 😍🤟
Good good but the real crazy stuff - including the most out-there and most-daring fashion - is to be found in the 'naughty corner' (Block 9, Shangri-La etc), nowhere near the Pyramid Stage.
So happy to see you vlogging again Kofi....or should I say Icy? Kofi AKA Icy? I dig it. Anyways you are a big part of the fashion scene and you've been grinding for years. You deserve every penny my Bruv.
He didn’t go there because he never seems to know much about where he is - I think he missed a lot and didn’t do basic research - hate to sound negative but I find
@@unknownvlogs Haha don’t blame you if you are only there for that long. Next time, go from Thursday to Monday. Best weekend of your life, it’s like nothing else bro. Much love
Glastonbury will always exist in one form or another but the “old” Glastonbury is rapidly dying. I didnt go so can only comment on TV coverage, etc but the crowd is changing massively (not in a good way either).
Today I liked the people who just said they are wearing clothes, no branding (you all know branding is taken from the farming trade where animals are branded. Anyway, big ups to the people watching again ❤️
The fella with the Bortega boots on got his boots cheap then, 500 bob is £250 yet the boots cost £510, so he did well lol or he doesn't know what a bob is more like
Yoooo Kofi i love your content ur clothes everything. I’m from Chicago I’m about to become a host on Nojumper can you bless me with an interview on the show?
