Every city is like this, so why would you be surprised? (what I mean by this is if you send people to any given city to the richest part of the city with a camera you will be able to come back with a videos worth of footage sowing well dressed people, no matter aht city you are in. So you shouldn't be surprised
I live in Rome and I don't think most people go around dressed like that. Probably for the sake of making the video appealing the creator chose people with more interesting outfits, which is understandable, but watchers shouldn't think that's the average. Also, it's worth mentioning that the city center is THE most expensive part of the city, which would explain why those passersby were wearing quite expensive brands. Again, not uncommon, but also not average either.
I live in Venice and agree, won’t see these outfits outside big city centers in general. Maybe during fashion week but it’s concentrated and the rest of outfits are basic for the most part.
90% of Italians dont even know english, he went to a really rich area, so the people he meets are the elites, and there's more chances that they dress with brands and stylish clothes.
This is his thing, he is mainly about the expensive high end brand names, and consequently misses out on more interesting, individual style. Disappointing
Europe is so special… these countries are so close to each other but so different and unique in fashion… weither it’s London, Berlin or Rome… so fascinating! Europe is the center of fashion
Man everybody killed it in this video. I think you should explore somewhere more rural where most people don’t aim to dress with lots of known brands. I think it would be cool to see what people can put together with just what they have. Keep it up brother sending love as always
In rural place people is very well dressed, I would say people give more attention on how they dress in rural place than in the city…( I’ m Italian I live in Rome and when I go back to my parents ( they live where Prosecco wine is made, so a rural place) I’m always more concerned about outfit than when I’m I’m the city)
Ironically in rural places or smaller town you will find people dressed only with known brands or fast fashion, because they usually don't have vintage shops or alternative clothing shops. That's sad, fast fashion is ruining the idea of style worldwide.
The way you say “How’re you doing today?” sounds so genuine and disarming. Even that one “shy” Italian woman was very noticeably shy but didn’t seem to ever get in that uncomfortable stage. The sign of a great “host”!
I seriously watch these videos when I’m feeling anxiety where I currently am and I love talking about clothes so this cleanses my soul thank you so much for making this
Kofi I’ve been watching you for years and years. The positive energy that you are bringing onto the streets, and into the fashion and streetwear world is unparalleled. Keep doing what you’re doing, we need more people like you. Much love
Awww! Everyone is so delightful. I love people who aren’t all weird and pretentious on these. Either you’re down to share and be oncamera or you’re not. No need to be weird about it.
So cool you were in Rome. I was vintage shopping there myself, this week. Food some amazing vintage Levi's shirts and kicks at Pifebo. Another amazing lil' shop was The Butcher! Rome has so many treats around every corner.
I really enjoyed that. Shout out to your new friends! They didn't have to do that, but they chose to. And shout out to Kofi for his good vibes. Like attracts like:)
This is the first video of yours I'm watching but i like your style, you seem a friendly and nice person, really chill but truthful at the same time. I like how you seem to spread positivity and don't mock anyone for their style or if they have some difficulties remembering the right English term for the item they're showing
I love your videos especially this one. I love Rome ! You could go to Milan (but I think you ve already made a video there) Parma, Mantova, Modena are great towns as well, smallish but with good atmosphere. In France, you must go to Marseille and Aix-en-Provence !
this is the vid with the second coolest people on average. that paris one that went mad is still number 1 for me but this was sick cause they were all local.
Met you in Paris - we were sitting next to you guys at the cafe - but me and my friend didn’t want to go on camera haha! Just wanted to tell you that I thought you were so friendly irl, very sweet. Keep up the good work, love watching your videos!
Big respect to you for keeping on with what you’re doing. Been to Rome3 times, and for me it is the place along with Milan to be for cool gear. Beautiful memories from my time inn South Moulton street ( at Browns ) , Saint Christopher’s place and Covent Garden’s La Piazza in the 80s (Paul Smith, Neal’s Yard and Floral street were thee places to chill… and been seen!) . I was an outcast back then cos I loved to dress up… Think Dandy and dapper. You da’ man and of Jamaican heritage like myself!
The way she was describing her palace shirt saying (idk if you guys know) even though Kofi's from London, and he started out by filming drop days there got me in stitches man
