Apart from this, the Indian government should mandate to solemnise every marriage by the government. What I mean is that every marriage should be checked by the government if the boy and girl are willingly marrying or not. Only such marriages should be valid where boys and girls both have consent. A certificate must be issued.. this will reduce the atrocities of women to forcibly marry .

Yes There are a lots of things that needs to be done ......It's time for the change . Marriage should be a choice not a compulsion but the sad part is nobody is interested in normalising it .I am literally dying every single day thinking what will happen.I don't want to marry in life but not born in a family where this decision of mine will be tolerated.I really don't know what to do .There is not even a single person who is willing to help me . Can marrying a person having no interest in marriage would solve my problem?? Don't know....i even tried finding that kind of man also but sadly couldn't find anyone

How would it be technically possible to micromanage these kind of marriages by the government. Immense scrutiny would be required as well as manpower has to be allocated to conduct a lengthy due-diligence process which could result in wasteful expenditure of the government.

@@adarsh8731 but when their parents force them to get arranged marriage, they can show this point because if you compare 5 ancestors of male and 3 of female, then there are 99% chances that somehow the partner (male or female) will be linked to each other and they can deny after that by the name of this law
