your videos are so helpful and would like to know is there any option for calculating capacitive current/integration of capacitive area calculation from a CV using PS trace or any alternative.

Dear Muhsinali, That is not an easy question. Digital potentiostats work in discrete potential steps, which makes their ramps always a staircase if you zoom in sufficiently. This way of measuring has an in-built supression of capacitive current or other very fast processes. The shorter the interval time, the closer the measured capacitive current will be to the real current. The whole effect is well documented by brands that have a true-linear module, to demonstrate their advantages. This is why CV isn't a great method to measure capacitive charging currents. You can use a potential step method. You can use MultiStep Amperometry or Fast Amperometry, but unfortunately there is a short overhead time, nefore the step, so for a fast capacitor this could have some impact. We are working on improving this. We recommend Method, if you have an EmStat4 or EmStat Pico. This way you can perform the whole method on the board of the potentiostat, without any overhead time.

Good morning sir Could you help me out for designing my own screen printed electrode? I am working to design a screen printed electrode using metal deposition. My analyte is Hydrogen peroxide Working electrode- Ag metal Counter electrode- Ag metal Reference electrode- Ag/AgCl Will this combination work? If not what kind of modification do I need to implement so that it will work nice?

Dear Pratyush Mohapatra, thanks for your inquiry. Here at PalmSens we focus on instrumentation and software for research and OEM customers, we do not manufacture (screen printed) electrodes or accessories ourselves. Among our partners, I don't recall any of them with ready products for peroxide detection. Nevertheless, you can ask them, we provide a complete list of the companies we collaborate with here www.palmsens.com/custom-sensor-development/#section-3

Is a SPE compatable with VSP 300 Biologic work-station? What can be used as a connector in this case? If you can suggest any... Thanks in advance

Dear Swarnadasari9681, We would prefer that you are using PalmSens potentiostats. They have multiple options to connect electrode, SPEs or classical. However, potentiostats, no matter the brand, don't care what electrodes are connected, they will just apply the potential and measure the resulting current. All you need is a connection between your potentiostat and the electrodes. We offer multiple options for SPE adaptors, that are also suitable for other brands. You can find them here: www.palmsens.com/products/sensors/sensor-connection/? If you are looking for a very straight forward option we recommend our SPE connector (2 mm) www.palmsens.com/product/sensor-connector/?
