Yup, there was a movement to adopt it but it never came to anything. Its interesting though, the USA uses inches and lbs etc but officially it's not the imperial system. 🤔
Actually, the American units are defined in terms of SI units, so in a very real way they are using the metric system. For example the inch is defined as 25.4 mm.
Great to see you uploading to this channel again. Loving the efixx videos as well, but have to be honest the theory and principle videos are my favourite, made me fall in love with triangles and mathematics 👍😀

Stating that the USA has not adopted the SI system is not true. SI and Imperial are taught in grade school and college. SI is all around us here. Government, scientists, engineering , technicians.....all use a combination of SI and Imperal. Also, Imperal measures are derived from SI
