Just saying most current video. I bought a penny board it arrives 2maro. I’m a heavy set guy 330 26 y.o I quit skating a 100 pounds ago. I’ve been doing sit ups and squats the past 2 months. I’m ready to start getting active again and cruising. I really honestly miss pushing and kicking. Yes snowboarding I had a carpet box downstairs, practicing popping into my grids & presses, regular switch, nollie pop or fakie, 180s, cab ins, hold them tweak them & exit back out or spin variations out. Soft trucks are geared more towards experienced skaters than beginners. Especially for those whom can’t skate during the winter months, you can practice your flip tricks all ways, 180s, 360s, ollies ect. Think of it like working out.. you’re putting in your reps to build up those muscles & muscle memory keeping your abilities fresh. You’ll built strength, your balance, more consistency with your execution among the tricks you practice, you may gain height to your tricks, better catches. They’re great when you can’t go skate or just to add into a practice routine as it wouldn’t hurt

Instead of Soap shoes we could have Cheese shoes. Instead of rubber soles it will just be cheese grater, and instead of a urethane grind plate, there will be a replaceable cheese module. The screws on the bottom will not be hex, they'll be big flathead. That way you can get at them with a butter knife.

Since everyone is sharing their skate story, I started skating since I was 11, got my first board when I was 14 for like 3 years I was just hanging around other skaters and borrowing theirs cause I couldn’t afford mine. I stopped skating when I was like 16, only knew a few tricks, kicks, shuv it’s, FS and BS Ollie, easy things, I am 24 now and I just recently bought a new board to give it a go again, I’m looking to mainly cruise and hit the random Ollie, hop over small things but nothing too serious, looking to also eventually buy a cruising only board after. There’s a lot of terms, names and things I forgot about but it’ll all come back to me hopefully.

There are for sure plenty of snowboarders who train off snow with jib boards and mock up rails. Helps find balance points and shoulder/body position easier. These seem like it would be a similar concept, although rolling is very important so maybe do both? Use these for new tricks while you also practice rolling and all on a regular board?

the luxury I see on those is you can land on your front wheels and back wheels and not get wheel bite or have it slide out from under you and break a hip, I guess these are more for practicing your flicks slides and other things you would do before getting on the board. It allows you to skip out on all that have the nose up and slide your foot since if you land awkward or bad you wont have the board shoot out and get decimated but you ankles aren't safe nor landing primo or credit carding but being able to commit to any trick and knowing you wont have the board sink in the dirt, have it slide out form under you, or accidental manual into eating dirt is nice so I see the reason for these to exist.

Dude in Iowa this is helpful for like 4-6 months of the year lol. Especially when/if the indoor park is 10 bucks or nonexistent.

Aaron make a skateboard deck out of wheels, maybe like drill holes through them and stick rods through the holes, I'ma keep asking till it happens, ik u've seen this many times now but ima keep commenting it

I'm still learning to ollie consistently and something just clicked in my mind when I saw the galloping technique lol. I need to give that mindset a shot next time I practice.

this would really be helpful to learn things where i live since its all cobblestone streets. i can roll. but this on my back patio could be fun.

Not a terrible product on theory, better than the snap on blocks for the wheels that I saw. You could just replace the bearings with stacks of washers on a spare deck or just tighten down the wheels until they won't roll. What ever helps I guess.

You need to do the dishsoap floor or whatever other products you've used to make a slippery floor, but with Soft Trucks. Try and skate like normal by sliding instead of rolling!

I'd prefer the skater trainers. Don't have to change my setup and boards lean. Didn't notice any toe or heelside movement so it would seem pretty rigid

You guys should do a kick flip marathon. Like landing a certain amount of flips in a set amount of time. I did something like that with my wheelchair basketball team a while back for a charity thing and raised a whole lot of money.
