What are starter sets? Featuring Hornby's Country Rambler 

My first hornby train set was the RS.604 Night Mail set which I received as a Christmas present in 1971, when I was 11 years old (I'm now nearly 60). My interest in model railways started the year before while on holiday with my parents. I like the starter sets as I won the Highland Rambler set at a model railway exhibition last year... who said that 'train sets are just for kids?' Gordon Taylor

I purchased the Urban rambler for my grandson , A starter set, it includes a track mat but the track supplied doesn't match the mat, A RIP OFF not happy you have to buy Pack A to make it match. Why is the mat included if it doesn't match

I to bought the Urban Rambler from Lidel supermarket's in 2019 and proceed to build a folding base board .
