Some people with scoliosis are visibly decentered and others, even with bigger curves have a torso which is generally well compensated and their posture is almost straight. I have noticed that s-shaped scoliosis cases are more difficult to treat and the results (in adults at least) are poorer, compared to c-shaped curves.
