That combo at the end 😍👌 Absolutely love it, I played Sefris for the first time last night and really enjoyed piloting her so that's definitely going in!
Glad to hear it! Any other recent commanders that you'd like covered? I really love researching these combos and commanders. I'm certainly getting exposed to waaaaay more Magic interactions by producing these videos.
I'd like to reccomend Tortured Existence as well, it can be used on enemy turns as well which triggers Sefris whenever you wish, it can also be used to surprise people if on the turn before yours you discard something you want, then you can out it into the battlefield as a surprise if it completes a dungeon. And if done on that person's turn it won't have summoning sickness and be ready to be used then and there.
@@aktirimagic4405 What also needs to be added is more blink, exile target creature and bring back to the battlefield. Soulherder is good, so is teleportation circle, and Venser, the soujourner. This deck thrives on its ETB effects, enter the battlefield and blink triggers those again. Take Ashen rider for example and sun titan, if Ashen rider enters and leaves the battlefield you destroy target permanent. That directly falls under everything, even lands. Exile once with soulherder/teleportation circle that triggers it, when she comes back 1 second later it triggers again. Same with sun titan but sun titan can be used to bring back artifacts too. Aberrant mind sorcerer is good because you can pick any instant or sorcery and bring it to your hand or top of your deck. Basically allowing you to keep a board wipe prevention on hand or victimize(comes in the deck)/sacrifice one creature bring back 2. Not to mention a lot of the cards in this deck have ETB/enter the battlefield venture into the dungeon.
@@aktirimagic4405 reveillark says when it leaves play, return 2 creatures with power 2 or less from your grave to play. So you clone reveillark, sac Safris with your sac outlet, then sac your clone reveillark. When the clone dies you get to put 2 creatures back in to play, Sefris(2 power) and clone(0 power). And wash rinse repeat, because each time Sefris comes into play it resets the once per turn.
hey so a buddy of mine runs a board wipe type of deck. i was searching for ways to upgrade my basic selfris deck and you really helped. the onyl thing im going to adjust is maybe doing some counter target spell in replacement for the extra mill but idk im just getting back into it
Dude, I'm so glad to hear it! Draining Welk is a creature that counters spells, so if it's in the graveyard when you complete a dungeon, you can use it to counter a spell. If you loot at instant speed with Merfolk Looter, you can discard Welk, complete a dungeon, and counter the spell. Seems far fetched as I type it, but you will complete dungeons at instant speed. There's certainly a high ceiling on a deck like this and it will certainly teach you a lot.
Glendale Archmage is a good non-creature counter. Nimble Obstructionist is a strange one. It can counter an activated or triggered ability AND complete a dungeon just from being cycled. Silumgar Sorcerer is another card that will counter a spell and complete dungeons. Siren Stormtamer, Voracious Greatshark and Voidmage Husher all have uses with Sefris. Lot's of creature counters. Maybe even Snapcaster Mage can flash in, target removal in your graveyard, block a creature, die, trigger a dungeon completion, reanimate a creature. This deck could be bonkers!!!!
Im surprised that Teferi, Master of Time isnt mentioned as much as it should be in these types of videos. With Sefris out you can basically venture on everyone else's turns also until you find your combo.
@@aktirimagic4405 yes, doe requires a lot mana. If we have a turn where I don't anything then I pump all my creatures off mirror entity and start pop creature to mill them. It's different
Fun energy in this video. Also, you can’t “add a generic”. Generic mana is not a type of mana but a reference to costs that don’t require a specific type. You can only produce colorless and pay generic costs.
