Use a regular tape measure that doesn't retract -- spool out to the size you use most often, then run a twist tie through the hole to keep the rest of it shut. I have a 120 inch tape since I sew big projects. But a twist tie will hold it shut and is easy to open if needed.
Hi Patricia! Glad you found some ideas in this tutorial! If you are looking for links of things that I mentioned, they all should be in the description of this video.
Omg, you are the cutest! I just found your channel and I am so happy that I did. I started crocheting in January of this year (and, got a very late start at 56!). But, I am totally addicted. I bought the crochet bag a few months back when I was traveling by plane. It is the perfect!
Yes, I use to use crochet hooks without a grip, but once I tried using hooks with "ergonomic grip" I have never looked back! I would highly recommend looking at different crochet hooks, and then ask for the crochet hook you think would be best for your crochet style for Christmas, that is what I did! I think I mentioned it in the video, but I have made 700+ crocheted items using my Clover Amour hooks, and they are still in great condition! I use them everyday! Thank you so much for supporting my channel!❤
