What are the best types of magnifying glasses for low vision? 

Magnification is often used to make things easier to see for a patient with low vision. By enlarging what the patient cannot see it makes it more accessible visually. Dr. Sarah Wolff, a residency trained low vision optometrist at Amplify EyeCare of Greater Long Beach discusses different types of magnifiers for people with low vision. Standard handheld magnifiers, stand magnifiers with LED light, handheld magnifiers with LED light and dome magnifiers are the most commonly used magnifying devices.
