This content should arguably be up for some kind of award winning independent documentary reporting ? That said, the very sad reality is that there are forces today actively trying to stop the UN mission and discredit such bilateral UK training missions in e.g., Malawi, in order for individual junta forces supported by said countering geo-political interests to exploit the situation & take control unilaterally for self-centered strategic purposes .
@donkoh5738
@donkoh5738 5 лет назад
johnathan - no doubt there needs to be comprehensive cease-fires until more solid political resolutions to the disputes can be negotiated between all the motivated rogue factions and junta leaders. Hence, an even more vigorous Peace-keeping force and humanitarian effort internationally is arguably justified in the meanwhile sadly .
@donkoh5738
@donkoh5738 5 лет назад
@Jonathan Williams more likely on an aggressive type defensive stance, yes probably an overly aggressive one sometimes tragically given the brutal hostility and offensive agression of various rogue militant factions vying for power share and control as a strategic purposeful agenda - all causing the vicious cycle of violence needing to stop. In terms of the nature of the arguable 'dictator' in question, such hostile violence will create an unacceptable cycle no doubt, which as said needs to be broken with help of UN and regional peacekeeping forces to allow for more resolute longer term political processes to evolve and strengthen as credible. But it should be doable and viable, whereas it's not like the 'dictator' is anywhere as brutal as say the Assad regime, which itself has only managed to in it's attempt to bomb it's way to a absolutist solution. peace out

So what im getting from this is if you live in Africa and are in extreme poverty and you require help you will get 10 to 15 soldiers to come help you every once in a while if it is convenient for the politicians and the reelections but if you are a rhino that is living in your natural habitat with plenty of food and water for life you will get 900 soldiers to conduct around the clock security and full medical and heath support just because you are "rare"

It is an argument that I have thought about quite a few times. I would instinctively say I would always value a human life over an animal. But from that animals would never get any help as you could always help humans instead. But then you would have much fewer species which I'm also not comfortable with. I think it probably comes down to a small benefit to many people can out way a large benefit to a few. As an extinction deprives all future generations of the enrichment it brings that "many people" is vast.

This is one of the biggest difference with the uk’s army and the u.s.a’s. they may have the biggest army and the most powerful but what do they do with it. u.s is well equipped just as much as the uk and as well prepared just as much as the uk. But even though the uk’s army is smaller we do so much wore with it. Yes the u.s went to fight ISIS but they have pulled out and we are still there and we are doing so much to help other countries but the u.s not so much.

Hold up, when the Americans went in and trained/supplied middle eastern factions.. how did that go? We now have extremist groups, it’s all good in the present but the people we help today could be an enemy in the future, I’m not a hater or anything but still.. think it through guys 👀
