What are the dangers of AI? 

Exactly, and how do we know who is spurting nonsense and who is being realistic and truthful. The other day we had Canadian Parliament clapping and applauding a 90-year-old Ukranian Ex Soldier, who was actually fighting with the Nazis to kill Russians during World War 2. Did anyone in that Parliament who clapped actually question to themselves before applauding the legitimacy of their celebration?

The word AI is a complete joke, if we called it what it was, "Electrical Intelligence" then we would have to compare it to our own "Godly" intelligence with the fact that our brains run using Electrical Currents. Neurons are cells in the brain that use both electrical charges and chemicals called ions to communicate with each other.

Unironically, people are probably going to build AI to fight other AI. The future is going to be really dumb, don't worry.

In my opinion we need AI with limitations, let’s not be stupid and give one the ability to do what it wants

@@axtrole if it’s true ai it’s dangerous as it can learn, and if it Learns we suck as creatures it could irradicate us, you know there are self improving computers that can write their own code

If you give an AI with purpose the ability to self improve we will enter the technical singularity and we won't be able to stop it that's the danger of it its already taking over a ton of jobs because money hungry companies but what good is money if it no longer has people to put value on it ai is a existential risk if unchecked our species will be at risk of extinction or stagnation and dependence

fam, ai is a neural network of parameters created by an assessment of the data. it knows what is right and wrong based on building over 10 trillion different if-else statements. this guy saying "ai might be wrong" seems to really really not know what ai is if that's the direction he talks about it. it's like a 5-year-old told "ai needs data" and they go, "what if I give data saying spoons are forks" and thinking after the five year old types it in it starts to think spoons are all forks.
