The first step you take to become a missionary, here at Globe International, is apply. You go to the Globe website ( www.globeintl.org ) and apply to become a missionary.
1. The first thing you can do to become a missionary is engage with the culture or type of work that God has put on your heart. Take a short term missions trip.
2. You can pursue educational studies that can prepare you to become a missionary. Perhaps you want to work within medical missions. With that you will need to study nursing, receive your Physicians Assistant degree, or even finish medical school to become a Board Certified MD on the field.
3. If you submit an application with Globe we will help you on your journey. We will help answer the question of how to become a missionary. Some things we will do during the application process are learning about your family, finding out if you are married, married with children, what you do for work, past missions experience (if any), and more... All of these questions will help us help you on your journey.
4. Once you make it through the application process you will come to Pensacola twice during two separate training weeks to immerse yourself in Globe Missionary Training. This will answer more questions and prepare you for your call to the mission field.
