Bro this is what the rockets are doing. They're pushing the assets back. They already have six prospects that they're developing plus whoever they draft tomorrow will make it 7. Adding the nets pick for 25 would make it 8 prospects. You can't develop everybody at the same time so you push the assets back which allows you to make future trades and focus on the young guys that you're already developing

Next year is such a strong class of talent. Why pass up on the opportunity? This draft is very weak, and next year is the exact opposite. This draft has people thinking Reed is Curry 2.0

@@themidnightace8295 I explained why the rockets made this decision. Yes it's true that next year's draft class is going to be really good compared to this one. But this move was made cuz we can't develop a prospects at the same time. The rockets already have their core so pushing the pics back list them develop the guys they have and give them more ammo for trades in the future. We're no longer at the stage of gathering high draft picks now we're developing players and roster building
